Mine, by far, has to be Day of the Dead festival. Its such a great holiday, with a positive outlook on the passing of our loved ones. There arent many games out there that celebrate holidays, and few of the ones that do neglect the Day of the Dead. Plus, the little sugar skulls, dancing skeletons, and miniature parties outside the main cities are so much fun!
Winer's Veil. Just love the gifts for all my alts. :D
Honestly my favorite holiday is Pirates's Day I say this because it's fun to hang out on top of Booty Bay's inn as a Pirate and dance the day away.
I would say Winter Veil as it's very chill and has a little bit of everything: recipes, yetis, skimpy outfits, pets, costumes, gnome transformation machines, bombing runs... Even with the over-abundance of objects and achievements, the event does not feel rushed or a grind. One could even skip the majority of the event, kick back with some egg nog, and still receive gifts. Plus, who didn't like snowballing people off bridges in AV?
My favorite WoW holiday is.... Hallow's End! =DI love the Headless Horseman. I love the trick-or-treating, the lore behind the holiday, the extra excuse to go back into the Scarlet Monastery, the IC excuse to make my night elf dress up like an Illidari orc, and most of all, I LOOOVE the Headless Horseman's mount! <3
Hallow's End by far just because i love Halloween in general and WoW lets me start celebrating even earlier.

Winter Veil because you get to open presents...and one of them will be something new. you get to ride a reindeer, save Rudolf, and bring out your little gnome winter helpers. Plus who doesnt like getting hit with a snowball lol
Favorite holiday? Hallows End definitely. Its the one time per year I can stock up on wands to use on unsuspecting party/raid members through out the year. Nothing in my mind is more enjoyable than turning a player into a leper-gnome when they start taking things way too seriously.
My favorite is Hallows End - fits nicely with my love to The Forsaken!
My favorite holiday is Hallow's End. I grew up on the east coast and my favorite story growing up was The Headless Horseman by Washington Irving which took place in the small village called Sleepy Hallow in the next state over from where I grew up. I was so obsessed about the story that I read that book every Halloween. Many years later I started playing World of Warcraft and got really into it. But it wasn't until mid October during the first year of playing that the game really won my heart. Never before had I played a game that incorporated so much just for its fans. The first time that I saw the Headless Horseman, I was leveling my troll rogue and I entered Razor Hill only to find someone yelling and fire everywhere. I looked up and saw the hessian soldier riding around on the coolest looking mount I had ever seen. Tears began to well up in my eyes as I gazed upon a childhood dream. From then on I was hooked. I stopped leveling altogether and began to concentrate solely on doing anything related to that event. At that point in the game, you could trick or treat every hour so I set an alarm on my phone so I wouldn't miss a single chance to get the riches that those buckets contained. It wasn't long after that I received the Sinister Squashling and the Hallowed Helm.Although I wouldn't be able to take part in the actual fight until the following year, I was still able to get just as excited when it came around again and again. Even now my rogue has The Hallowed title as well as every achievement for the event, I still look forward to it every single year. That is why Hallow's End is my favorite holiday.
My favorite holiday is hallow's end. Awesome pet, awesome mount, and broomsticks for instant mounting!
Its that time of year; Hallows End is here,With candy, costumes and plenty of cheer,We dive deep into bucket of candy for treats,Only to be tricked and scared out of our seats; We collect wands, masks & Gnerds for the horde,Looking for that last undead sends us bored,With stealth and cunning we douse the hordes' flames,Only to be stink bombed over and over in daily games,No matter the candy, the masks and that darned cat,We all know why we're here; Where all the glory is at,His evil laugh, his fiery doom,Trying to shroud us all with his gloom,On the ends of our seats we carefully perch,As we open that pumpkin and quickly search,For those glorious reins to the mount we all want to flaunt,But its never there. Sadly he just mocks us and continues to haunt.
Lunar Festival is the best; ever one is firing crackers make the good animation there. I still remember when I started playing WoW Lunar Festival was the first which I celebrated and it is still somewhere in my mind how awesome it was looked at that time (like 3-4 years ago).
What is your favorite holiday in World of Warcraft and why?My Favorite Holiday in World of Warcraft is Hallow's End. Let's face it, no matter how many masks you have, heads you've thrown pumpkins on, pets you've obtained or treats you've collected there will Always be something to get. The feeling of Autumn and the Festivity during fall is a sensation unmatched by any other Holiday (or season). The Eeriness and Spooky feeling of the Headless Horseman as he rides only to be thwarted by you and your friends will always be popular among those who love the same feeling. :)
I am a pet collector, so Children's Week is my favourite! I still have to collect all pets from it though..
Any holiday that makes the Booty Bay Bruisers pass out from partying too hard. Griefing lowbies since 2004 =)
