Hallow's End, there a lot of fun dailies and quests now that it's been revamped to tie in with the Forsaken and Worgen.
My favourite holiday in Azeroth is Winter Veil because of all the whacky gifts I can give to my friends. I also love partaking in Moon Guard's fantastic roleplay Winter Veil bashes (blood elves throw fabulous parties!) and dressing up for the holidays. I often give hard to find items, weird transformation items, or even small pets or trinkets and baubles from around Azeroth. I love gift giving in real life and Azeroth's Winter Veil just makes it even better. My favourite memory of Winter Veil was my first Winter Veil in Azeroth. My boyfriend and I exchanged gifts in real life and in game. He ended up giving me a Mooncloth Robe, which I still have in my bags today! Back in vanilla, Mooncloth Robes were hard to get since the materials were so expensive, but he saved up and had it crafted. It's my favourite robe in the game, and with the memory of my boyfriend giving it to me attached to it, I simply could never not love my beautiful robe. I think I gave him something cheesy like a small pet so his gift definitely blew mine out of the water. <laughs>I also did a big giveaway of books to all my roleplay friends for Winter Veil - but not just any books! They were the Rituals of the New Moon books. They turn you into a big wolf when you use them. Everyone opened my presents and we all ran around as a big wolfpack in Azeroth! It was the most fun I've had in Winter Veil with friends. We even made it to a mini-party for our roleplay guild as wolves. Talk about a flashy entrance!
Favorite Holliday in WoWActually for me its simple Day of the DeadThe day I saw them in game I was amazed, I'm Mexican and having these traditional symbols represented in the game makes me feel like there is some respect for other cultures and their traditions.Bailando con la Catrina y Ofrendar Pan de Muerto y las Flores de cempasúchil a las almas de nuestros difuntos queridos, son representaciones muy acertadas de una tradición muy arraigada en nuestro pais.To dance with The Catrina and offer Bread of the Dead and Marigolds to the souls of our beloved dead, are adequate representations of a strong tradition in our country. That is my Favorite WoW HollidayEdit: Links working now, post makes sense =)
Hallow's End. Halloween is my favorite holiday IRL, too. :) Costumes, candy and spooky stuff around each corner. What's not to love?
My favorite in WoW is the "Noblegarden" love all the small bunnies running around. All the chocolate and candy you get and/or that is laying around. pluss you get some cool outfitts, have good memories from all the past noblegarden holidays :)
Midsummer Fire Festival, no question. Ends on my birthday, I always log in to see the fireworks. :D
Oops! Um. So, I might have (obviously) missed the WoW holiday bit, and ran on a bit from there. /blush I hope that doesn't dock me any points! >.<For WoW, I would have to say Noblegarden, because I really loved the bunny pets, and how they'd make more bunnies. And the 'shake your bunny maker' achiev was just hilarious and fun to hunt down the opposite faction, especially the ones that aren't played in abundance as female. I had a lot of fun running around for that holiday.
"What is your favorite holiday in World of Warcraft and why?"WINTER VEIL !The question was a hard one. I like the ram racing of Brewfest. I like the chimes of Noblegarden. I even like the emotions, albeit sad ones, of Children's Week.I'm never around, for all of Winter Veil, but I think that's part of why it's my favourite. I go home for Christmas and miss at least half of Winter Veil.Winter Veil has come to be associated with thoughts of going home and that, for me, is a good reason to like it.The holiday parallels a lot of what I do at Christmas - other than shooting various neighbourhood leaders, of course! There's the cooking, the merriment and, of course, the presents. What's not to like?WINTER VEIL !
I actually love Halloween the most. I love Halloween in real life so getting to do fun stuff in game as well is just awesome. That, and I'm still trying to get the Horseman's Reins. :D
Hallow's End! Halloween is my favorite holiday, and my favorite time of year. My Feline Familiar is my favorite pet. :)
Hallow's End. Purely for the zero cast time Flying Broom. It's the best way to travel.
I love Winter's veil the most, because it's christmas holiday and the week that sort of everyone loves and should love, so i rank winter's veil the highest. 1: It's awesome 2: best season (winter ish :P ) 3: it's too enjoyable. :D
Hallow's End beats out Brewfest just by a hair. It was fun to be a lowbie and help put out the fires and when I finally was able to defeat the Horseman that was great. Especially when I got his mount. A horse that flys! Awesome!
Hmm, my favorite holiday in Azeroth? That's tough. Brewfest is fun, but I can't fully enjoy it because if I showed up to every raid drunk I'd get a /gkick. Love is in the Air, now that was a good time! Ah, but I tried too hard to satisfy my Sweet Tooth. I kept getting Shafted and just ended up Lonely. I had a great time during Children's Week too. Those little scamps really kept me on my toes! Oh, and there was the time I drank with Dread Captain Demeza. Yarr!It really has been a long, strange trip. If I had to pick one favorite though, it would have to be...Winter Veil of course! Who doesn't love getting presents? =D
Hallow's End. I think it was my first world event when I years back hit lvl70 with some of my friends, and then we so desperately started to farm for the Headless Horseman's mount, and I was the only one from us who got it at the end of the event :P Brings back good memories! :)
