Obviously the Children's Week. Nothing beats the feeling of teaching those kids the real art of combat in battlegrounds. Also flying to the tanaris desert... just to hearthstone back to Shattrath leaving your orphan deserted in the middle of nowhere.

Have to say that my favorite holiday has to be Midsummer. I'm always looking forward to it because it truly means summer is here... Andddd I hate winter, so it's a very welcome sign. :D Also really love the pvp of dousing of the other capital cities' fires. :3
Children's Week all the way. There's SO MANY PETS to collect! SO MANY!
My favorite holiday in World of Warcraft, is Brewfest, because it is the best time to get away with being drunk in raids.
My fav is Hallow's End because i like costumes. If i want i can make a whole raid of pirates or ghosts !
I love "Children's Week", nothing better to move with my kido' around azeroth and outlands. It makes me want to explore everything. Also, they give me pets :)
My favorite holiday is Winter's Veil as I made a lovely friend during it.Also, snowmans is cool.
My favorite holiday would have to be hallows end just because I like putting out the fire
As a child Halloween was always my favourite holiday! Although in Northern Ireland it was never as big, as say the US - it has become even more forgotten in recent years with next to no-one opening their doors to my nieces (whom I took trick or treating) and they have become disheartened by it. It's all a bit sad looking back on it but I just love that I can log in and enjoy Hallow's end every Halloween on WoW. It's always been my favourite WoW holiday and the trick or treating is great! (Yay I'm a kitty! *proceeds to run around in circles for the duration of the trick*) What I love the most is that everyone has a fair chance at enjoying the holiday. The majority of quests and events can be completed by any level, not just those at end-game. I think this is so important, as the game as largely become about "end-game" over the years. My level 10 druid just feels so imba after putting out those fires and saving the town from the wicked Headless Horseman. And of course, the Headless Horseman himself is one of the greatest mobs in WoW, in my opinion. Somehow I know every one of his lines and find myself cackling along as I strive to put out those fires. And with this years changes, the pumpkins are the main source of tricky Treats therefore it is great that you can double up and get your explorer title, and the pumpkin achievement, whilst getting all of those sickly sweet candies! This years changes also make it easier to get masks, and pets which some people may say is a bad thing, but it enables everybody to experience the holiday and have fun - which ultimately is what it's all about :D ~ Hammerthyste
My favorite holiday is Hallows end. The game becomes wonderfully atmospheric, the change of decor in the game remind me of how my own family would make our own home look as much like a steriotypical haunted house for all the kids in the neighbourhood, which was many years ago. The quests add to the feeling as does the mindless collecting of candy (I can't remember how many buckets of candy we gave away back then...) and wearing masks. The Legend of Sleepy Hollow was one of the first stories I was ever told as a kid (On Haloween Night, no less) and the Horseman haunted my dreams for many a year after, its nice to get some revenge on the pumpkin headed freak, add stealing his horse into the mix and you've got my perfect Warcraft Event.
Hallow's End. Halloween is my favorite holiday in the real world because my favorite color is orange and EVERYTHING is either orange, purple or black. And because it lets my inner kid out as i get to help my own kids pick out costumes and run around getting candy. In game, I do the same. I run around and get candy...no need for a costume though, I dress up as a giant blue Space Goat every year :D*edit for spelling*
I have a few I really like, but I would have to say my favourite would be the Winter's Veil event. Although, pink dress day from Lunar fest was great, that is a whole new ball game. This has a bit of back story to it. Our guild was kinda hitting a brick wall, it was still early in Wrath. We was working on 3D sarth already, just something would keep us from it every time. We ended the raid night to take part of the present opening. It was the one with the racing cars, and we as a guild had a huge battle with them for like 2 hours. After the battle we was in such a great mood we decided to go back and try sarth again. Sarth +3 was dead about 25 minutes later. So this event right here cleared our minds and we had a blast. No other event, had more meaning to me, than this one. We had almost stopped raiding several months before, entirely due to Muru. Note-We did split into 10m groups for uld, and slowly dwindled away. So this was one of the last great raiding moments of wrath for me.Also sarth+3 was Voidwalker tanked by me. :)
Midsummer Fire Festival -Summer has always been a great time of year for me. I love it the sun the Ice cream chilling with mates everything good happens. Although living in the UK it has a tendency to rain alot. And when it does I like to come in log into wow run around In my firery garb. Paying respects to the elders. ( Also desecrating the hordes bonfires but don't tell them :P) It give you a chance to run round see azeroth and enjoy the game. Not just raiding , PvPing and what ever you do just seeing the world and how unique it is. Aso my birthday is slap bang in the middle of it ^^
