My Favorite memory in wow was when I got ported to GM island. It all started when I got stuck inside the Karazan gate back in BC. Because I Was too lazy to get my Rogue a key to kara, the way I would get in was by dying near the door, then rezing inside. I moved too far in when I rezed and was stuck. I ticketed a GM and, almost instantly, he simply said "Where would you like to go?". I responded with "anywhere but here" he then ported me to GM island where a big "Discovered: GM ISLAND" poped up on my screen... I was so surprised I nearly fell out of my chair. My good friend was standing over my shoulder and was also at a loss for words. 20 seconds later he ported me to Under City where he stood in front of me for the next 20 minutes. He was a level 70 shaman wearing "Blue GM robes" and "Blue GM Slippers". I guess I must have been phased because lots of people walked right by us, and non of them could see him. That moment made my night... no, my whole wow career. What a cool GM...even though he wouldn't give me his Blue GM robes :P. Feels cool knowing I am one of the few people who legitimately has GM Island under their list of discovered zones, and did so in a way were I was not breaking any rules.
My favorite moment in WoW was when I just hit level 70 for the first time during the Wrath of the Lich King pre-launch event and got invited to a quick run of the starting area of Karazhan in order to fight Prince Tenris Mirkblood. He dropped the Arcanite Ripper and we all rolled on it. I rolled 100!
My favoriet memory is when i yust buyed wow wotlk (and the other ofcourse xD) and that i installed it took like 5 hours(had a ^&*!y pc then xD). And after the instal i wanted to play it b noticed that i forgot buy a game card , and it was like 20:30 that time so al the game stores where closed and it was on a saterday so i had to wait til monday to buy a gamecard.Man that was a epic failuir xD.
First amazing memory for me? The one that made me say, "Yes, this is a great game." The first sight of the coast at Westfall, the beach, the sea, the sun... the murlocs. I was also struck dumb the first time it rained in Elwynn Forest. Despite me living in the UK.
My favorite memory in WoW is from beta. Me and an old friend explored as much as we could without dying. I remember us being terrified of the raptors in Arathi because they were red and close to the road. Also, the first time i flew on a gryphon using a flight path. It was so new and pretty.
My greatest memory of WoW... Has to be waaay back when in my first guild dungeon run. We were running BRS reenacting the Leeroy Jenkins video over ventrilo. I was taking the role of the protagonist, the hero, the mighty, Leeroy. I even brought along my trusty KFC to pull my chicken quote. We pulled it off without a single problem.. Until I realized I had forgot to record the video just before the final punchline. It was the most fun, and most "humiliating" memory ever for me in WoW. My guildies still won't ever let me live it down.
My first and favorite World of Warcraft experience was watching one of my friends play his undead mage on a PVP realm. He was showing me his actionbars, and he had a macro for /spit. He clicked on it just as an alliance warlock walked by. As the warlock was slightly higher level than he was, he ran. The warlock chased him for quite a few minutes, that is until we found some PVP flagged horde guards. Needless to say, he was relieved and this was the experience that got me playing WoW.
My favorite memory from world of warcraft, was leveling in Zul Darrak. My brother was sitting next to me and we noticed a boomkin named Lordy. My brother exclaimed 'OHH LAWDY! TWO MOONKINZ!" I was leveling moonkin at the time. It was one of the best memories.
The day I finally found and tamed Loque'nahak in Scholazar was my favorite day. I had spent weeks waiting and watching, and just missing her several times until she spawned right beside me. She has been my favorite hunter pet ever since, accompanying me through years of WoW battles, raids, fishing, and just hanging about looking beautiful and getting compliments from the envious! Wowhead had several helpful tips on finding her - much appreciation.
Some years ago, in a guild who's been forgotten, a group just stand in Orgrimmar, near the waterfall, taking a picture for a front end forum.Last week, I retrieve this screenshot, with all those names. At that time, it was just an another moment like it happen every day. But as today, It bring back memories, talks and fun.Yeah, a old meaningless moment who as become now an unforgettable part of my wow past.
Killing Gruul after transferring to a new server to join a new guild and filling a new tank role.
My favorite memory:It was during vanilla (patch 1.1.11) and I was a level ~40 warlock, my first character. Oblivious to any endgame activities the world was filled with wonder and strange places. Here I was questing in the Hinterlands when a very, very large group of players passed by on their mounts. I decided to follow them. So I was witness to a raid batteling one of the Dragons of Nightmare. Standing on top of a hill -at a safe distance- I was standing in awe how those heroes were fighting a formidable foe. It was the point where I decided to become a raider as well.I levelled to 60 and whispered one of those players (I took a screenshot ofcourse!) telling him my story of how I had a screenshot on my PC of what inspired me to raid. 5 years later we are still raiding together, sharing victories and the rush of defeating Warcraft's greatest foes.
