My favorite memory in WoW? That moment that I hit 40, terribly poor, and I get a mail from my friend giving me enough gold for a mount, then riding around in fast style!

Lots of raids, lots of PVP, lots of trade chat comes to mind, but the moment that meant the most was that first dungeon. Deadmines. When we blew the door open with the cannon, and then later when a freaking cow-man stomped the ground to stun us and get some weapons from a chest, I knew. I knew I was hooked, and still am.
My most favorite moment in WoW was raiding back in the good old days of TBC, those days were my favorite of all time, I remember getting to the last boss in sunwell every week, non-stop wiping and attempts on him like crazy. I also loved all the times in Karazhan and all the other magnificant raids, only up to now did they really get dumbed down, but overall they are still the most fun and favorite raids of all time.
My favourite moment in WoW would be Completing Zalazane's Fall and Recapturing echo isles while the quest was available, i done it as it came out and think i enjoyed it so much just cause of the amount of people that were involved and that it was just a generally fun quest which is surprising for me cause i generally don't enjoy quests (:
My favorite memory has to be back in BC on my 69 rogue when i grinded out ALL the honor to buy ALL the gladiator gear (Gladiator's Vestments). Shortly after getting all the gear and getting it gemed, i Q'd up for a Warsong Gulch ( at level 69 still) then quickly ran at full speed from the valley of honor to turn in a quest i had completed to level. So i leveled to 70 at that point, then the wsg Q came up and i went into the 60-69 wsg at level 70 with all the gladiator gear. You could say, we won and it wasn't that hard to stay at the top of the list lol. But it was just a really memorable moment i experienced in WoW that really was a one time thing at the time and now, it isn't even experience-able since they fix that fun little "glitch" ;_;
My favorite memory is when myself and 10 others went into Tempest Keep for fun, We then got to Kael'thas, when he was dead I looted and all I seen was......wait for it................................ Ashes of Al'ar! My heart was going crazy and then the moment came and I WON with a roll of 100! I then fell out of my chair and ran down the street with no shirt! (No really I did.) I was so happy to get it! Omg, I almost died when it dropped, I can sill picture that day in my mind. Idk what I would do If I won another rare mount that I love O.O.
My favorite memory is when I first entered the Dark Portal to Hellfire Peninsula. I walked up to the portal in the Blasted Lands and stared at it only wondering what could be on the other side. Finally I jumped into that portal looked up into the sky and saw the magical sky with other unknown planets floating around! Then I thought I was about to die for I see a battle going on in front of my eyes with a gigantic mob that didn't even have a level! Where the level was supposed to be there was a skull and I was really scared. Today I look back at that small, pristine moment as one of my favorite.
My best and most memorable moment was the first year I played WoW I was about level 20 and it was on new years night. At midnight, the Horde decided to raid Elwynn forest and drink Elixirs of Giant Growth on their biggest mounts to fight their way into Stormwind. Everyone fought at the gates to the city, and it was definately something very fun to watch when I was new to the game.
My favorite memory, eh? It has got to be when I was playing my hunter back in Vanilla.It was my first +30lvl character, I leveled furiously and FAST (~1lvl per day.. Oh those were the days<3) and when I finally got near 40, I thought "Oh my god I'm going to get my first mount soon!" and I opened my bag, looked at the amount of gold I had. The mount cost ~100g and I only had 2 gold and 32 silver. I was 38 at the moment, and I was shocked at the thought of having to farm 98 gold more because even the 2g was a lot for me. So I started farming for it, on the eastern shore of Dustswallow Marsh. The turtles, I killed them for hours and hours per day and skinned every turtle I ever killed. For 3 days I did this +6 hours a day, and when I finally got my gold for the mount I was already level 41. (I didn't know of AH yet so I sold everything to vendors) So when I finally got my mount, the white kitten for Night Elves, I went to Goldshire and ran with the mount. For a week I didn't do anything but run around with my mount.'twas the best feeling anyone could get, the feeling that you've accomplished something big. All those hours of work behind and finally the fruit of my labor is at my hand. I'll never forget it.
During TBC I was raiding Sunwell with my guild and we were trying to get our first kill on Felmyst. This undead dragon didn't want to give up without a fight, so we wiped a large number of times, before we finally had an attempt where things worked out as planned. The boss was going down, but unfortunately we were taking too long, and Felmyst enraged. It looked like it was going to be a very frustrating 1% wipe. She cast a gas nova and instantly killed the entire raid - except for one! A stubborn and brave paladin had been quick with the bubble, and was now the only hope left. As my guildies cheered me on, and adrenaline rushed through my veins, I launched my hammer of wrath at Felmyst and landed the killing blow on the mighty undead dragon! It was truly an epic moment, and it has become a legendary tale within our guild.
My favorite memory didn't actually happen IN GAME, but rather at the midnight launch of Cataclysm. This is more of a story that HAD to happen because of fate. I wasn't planning on going to the midnight launch if a friend of mine that worked at Gamestop hadn't been working at the launch.I get to the launch and greet my friend whom I've been waiting to see. We start talking to each other and get involved with talking to other fellow WoW players. As we're standing in a circle, all the guys are talking about their mains and gloating about how awesome they are. They partake in making fun of this guy's main because he's a Beast Mastery hunter that is a pet collector rather than a raider or PVPer. Not wanting to listen to this, this guy goes over to the other employees and starts talking to them.Midnight strikes and the employees ask everyone to start forming lines. Since this guy is already standing by the employees, he was "first" in line just in terms of where he was standing. At this point, one of the guys who was putting this poor guy down before starts freaking out about how he had to go to the back of the line because they were all there first. He didn't honestly care. He was tired and cold, so he just went without a fuss. Now he was the last person in line, and was standing next to a guy and a girl. The guy introduced himself as James, and that prompted me to introduce myself as well. James begins making small talk about how all of his friends have stopped playing, so the game is kind of boring to him. Meanwhile, I pull out her phone to show James and this guy videos of her Warcraft character. As I'm doing this, James suggests "hey, let's all exchange phone numbers so that we can talk on WoW." So, we do. This is when this guy introduces himself as Scott when I add him into my phone.As we're moving up in line, Scott soon finds out that I'm friends with a lot of the people that work at Gamestop and that I'm hanging out with them afterwards. Eventually, we get up to the front and the employees realize that they forgot Scott's copy of the game up in the store. The mall is closed, and we're not supposed to go in, but the store manager decides to bring Scott and I inside because he's not sending me home empty-handed and I have plans with friends who will be up there too. When we get up there, the employees all go into the Gamestop, but since Scott and I are not employees, they can't let us into the store. So instead, Scott and I get to sit down outside the closed Gamestop in the empty mall and chat one-on-one for several minutes. The employees come out and hand Scott his game, thanks them and says goodbye to me. As he's walking away, I shout after him, "You have my number, right?" He says he does and tells me to have a good night.After this we text and talk on Facebook and hit it off wonderfully. We started dating on December 15, 2010, 8 days after the Cataclysm launch. We're very happy and will be getting married sometime in the next 5 years. We play WoW together all the time and never get bored of each other.The backstory to all of this is that Scott and I have had a very rocky past where a lot of bad stuff happened to us and we were at the point where we just gave up on who we were, what we stood for, what we looked like, etc. The night that we say 'screw it' is the day we meet and fall in love.
I would say my greatest memory from WoW must be good old days entering lvl 60, that great feeling that all yuor hard work, as it was then, finaly paid off! Then it was endless hours of grinding pvp gear, so that we could defend Crossroads in hours of endless and glories battles! Nothing beats that :)Still using that Shaman as my main today, and that will never change :)
My favorite memory was back in vanilla while being a fairly low level rogue watching a group of alliance decimating the Crossroads. All these skull level players with yellow nameplates, until I built up the courage to attack someone that is! Then all the nameplates turned red and I pretty much became a speedbump.World pvp was alive and more fun than it ever has been since they've introduced the honor system. With all the improvements they've made to the game since vanilla, if I could give them all back to have the same sort of world pvp we had back then, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
I think my favorite memory of WoW is when I first tanked Hellfire Ramparts on my Feral Druid. It was the first time Feral was a viable spec and it was the first time I'd ever been able to tank and get respect from other people for it.
