My best WoW memory is that, when i dinged 80.. it was so awesome. So cool. I could do anything in that game. :))
Onyxia, the original Onyxia. Coming back again and again every week to down that oversized chicken. And watching, every week, some fool running into the whelps. Good times.
Seeing my fellow guildies mounted and riding through STV to get to ZG.There was something quite awesome about that.

My favorite memory of WoW dates back a few years, to the first few times I played the game. My then boyfriend (now husband) got me into WoW so that we could have something to do together while we went through our long distance relationship. I waited for my copy of BC to come in before I started to really play (I wanted to be a Blood Elf!). So, here we were, leveling our toons together, I was playing a mage and he was playing a paladin. We were on top of the tower in the starting zone and after completing our quest, he told me to jump down into the water as a short cut. So, I jumped and hit a shallow spot. Instant death! I was so mad at first, it was my first death! But now that I think back on it, I laugh every time. WoW kept us together during our long distance relationship and now I'm more of an addict than he is!
My favorite memory of WoW is a very distant memory of my dad playing, and me watching him play. It's a few years ago, I guess I was 12 years old (which means: My pocket money didn't reach far enough to afford WoW and I thought my dad was the best in everything he did). He had a tauren shaman and he was busy playing in a zone I now recognize as Mulgore. I thought he was really amazing and powerful. He once asked me to play - I really loved that! He explained me what all the buttons did. Now, I realize he asked me to play, because he didn't want to grind all those mobs by himself. After I played a few times, he even allowed me to create a toon myself - I loved it but I never dinged 5 since I didn't really understand the game - I was just walking around, swimming, falling, dying, fighting critters and grey mobs, all the time. It started to get boring and ofcourse it never came to my mind to ask my dad for help. I deleted the toon and made another. Unfortunately, this didn't do a magical thingie to my Wow-spells and after this second attempt I was totally done with it.By the way: I never played WoW again, until my dad, who is still playing, gave me vanilla+tbc for Christmas. I made a tauren shammy.
My favorite memory has to be a time when enough bored guild members were available that we all went down to Orgrimmar, and danced naked in front of the city gates. The horde went crazy, with alot of them coming out to try and pick a fight. Eventually, someone wandered too close to a guard and flagged pvp, which started an all out battle! We eventually wound up in Ironforge, drinking and partying. For extra added fun, we managed to convince a few new players there was an achievement for dancing armorless in a group. :D
I remember when I first started playing WoW. I was on my newly created mage and was going to get boosted for the first time in The Deadmines. My expectations were really high obviously, it was my first real dungeon. My friend, who had a level 70 paladin said to me; "You'll just stay here, and i'll be back with mobs and you'll get exp. Newbie as I was I just stood there understanding nothing. After a while, my friend yelled for me and I started moving towards him. I saw him standing, tanking a pack of mobs, and he said "Watch this now". Then, at exactly that moment, my friend DC's. He gets killed, and my screen gets filled with this aggro-red color. I died in like 0.3 seconds. I lost all my hope for World of Warcraft. Today, I have four 85's, and that memory is still hunting me in my dreams.
The day I unlocked my "Summon Infernal" spell at level 54. Ran into Sentinel hill with a bunch of RL buddies and plagued the town. Killing lowbies and NPC's alike. Until the level 60's showed up :(
Mein bester Moment war mein erstet Realmfirst (auch wens nur der "Erster erhabener Inschriftenkundegroßmeister des Realms!" war)
My favorite memory from WoW is when my fiance finally, after months of trying, convinced me to try to play his toon. I sat down at the computer and tried to walk his warlock using the mouse. It was hilarious watching the toon go around and around in circles and zig-zags as I tried to go straight. Once I got control of that I started questing as he's in the background telling me what to do and why. I ended up liking it so much and got so into it that three hours later he had to ask to play his toon again. After that I set up my own account and have been playing 2 years now =o) I went from the "Nah, I'll watch you play" girl to the "Lemme in on a piece of that action" girl! Oh and our baby boy loves to watch the cinematics in WoW as well as the big dragon on the log in screen. He talks to that dragon all the time. I like to think he's giving it a piece of his mind at telling it how we're going to kill it!
