My favorite memory from WoW was hitting level 60 in the vanilla days. I had grinded for 3 days straight on the frozen Lake of Kel'Theril in Winterspring because a friend of mine had said during that time it was one of the quicker ways to level. Upon hitting 60, him and a few other people had lead me to Azshara to get my Polymorph: Pig book and to Dire Maul to get the new mage food books. I remember thinking to myself, that only the most awesome of things were yet to come and the anticipation I felt was really high. Just a few hours later, I was in my first raid in ZG as a guest in the guild Blackwatch on Lothar. (They were running for enchants and mounts). It was like the game had changed completely, yet remained the same. I'll never forget it.
My first 'For the Horde!'
first LK kill, no question. Such satisfaction. Nothing will ever beat it.
My favorite memory of WoW has to be the night our guild finally took down the Lich King. We spent two and a half months at it, learning the fight, using every addon that offered help, watching videos and forum advice. And yet we'd still get tripped up by our own mistakes or, more often that not, wiped because of random luck as part of the fight's mechanics. But when we finally got the Lich King down, there was cheering and much rejoicing. Also, we never want to go back to Icecrown again, heh, we are all sick to death of it (after weekly 4-6hr raids for almost three month in the place).
Back during the original scourge invasion, as the first few waves of undead came rolling through the country side, children's day was also going on. I was level 50-ish, an undead rogue, and had just completed the quests to get Mr. Wiggles. (The plan, of course, being to have an emote that licked my lips and muttered about bacon.) My guildies were all level 60 and working on the invasion, and invited anyone who wanted to join in to come along... as they were in blasted lands at the time, they had to summon me, and my lower level instantly aggro'd one of the roaming boars in the area. We killed it handily, and someone made a joke about being forced to kill pigs. I pulled out Mr. Wiggles and triumphantly told them, "It's okay. I have a spare pig!" Little did I realize my future fiancee was in that group of raiders, and swears he fell in love with me for that comment.
My favorite memory of wow is when i first time gone to pvp. I Were really confusing about pvp cause i didn't really what to do. It was awesome when i got my first kill. I Sayed i am best wow regular. I still remember when i enter to warsong gulch that moment.
My most memorable moment was probably when my Warrior completed Accomplished Angler. The last part being winning a fishing contest and feeling like I would never get it after coming so close many times. I still remember how fast my heart was racing after my catch and literally screaming at my monitor as if it would make my Hearthstone work any faster. Once the NPC announced me as the winner I wanted to stand up and scream with delight. Even after obtaining who knows how many epics and seeing so much within the game itself, I finally felt as if I had accomplished (no pun intended) something meaningful.
My favorite moment in WoW was when my guild was raiding Karazahn for the first week. We had downed huntsman and went on to morose we spent about 3 hours on moroes. I was healing on my holy paladin at the time. On our last attempt we had moroes down to 1%. Everyone else was dead. I was running out of room to reset the encounter. The raid leader yelled at me on vent saying stop hes at 1% take him down! So i turned around popped bubble and hammer and started plinking away at moroes. Suffice it to say I finished moroes off and then died from garotte. Moroes dropped the Boots of Valiance which the guild gave me. It was a very fun encounter,
Happy Birthday Wowhead! My favorite memory in World of Warcraft was traveling to Karazhan and getting so involved with the chess event once me and a friend had finished it we didn’t finish the other bosses we just stayed there for hours playing chess. We did share the sudden epiphany we were lacking a social life but it was damn fun!
By far my favorite moment of Warcraft would have to be the release of The Burning Crusade. After playing the game through and through at level 60 I was starting to think I "Beat" the game. When there was more content to explore and a chance to reach a new cap of 10 more levels I was a lot more excited and it made me into the game again and the same with two more expansions. Good job Bliz. :D
My favorite memory is when i finally retrieved my Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker. After I got the binding from Baron Geddon, I had been farming Molten Core every week for 3 years. I had lost all hope of ever getting my first legendary weapon ever, but I still continued to do MC every week, just in case it would drop. And one day... when that bastard Garr died for the seemingly thousandth time, i froze in my chair. I just could not believe what I was seeing. The reason why this moment is so special to me is because it will always be my first legendary weapon I have ever achieved in World of Warcraft, and the fact that I worked so hard with it, just makes it that much more delicious.Since then i have been using my beloved Thunderfury every single time i didnt need my normal weapon.
My favorite memory in WoW would be when I was on my Elemental Shaman in Eye of the Storm and the alliance had their entire team in mid, so i ran in and Thunderstormed them ALL off the side, got the flag and won the game. Shamans ftw.
My favorite memory was completing the quest chain for the epic vanilla hunter bow Rhok'delar, Longbow of the Ancient Keepers. The weeks of work and help from guildies was all worth it to sit in org with my fancy bow :D
My first day of WoW definitely holds my favorite memories. I began playing as a way to keep in touch with my little brother. I remember being a complete noob while he was at max level. So, for the first time, instead of my little brother looking up to me, I was looking up to him. He taught me basically everything he could, from using the dungeon finder to leveling professions. More importantly, we became friends. I didn't know too much about him, and after awhile we realized we're actually pretty similar. Thanks to this game, we're closer now than when I lived with him, and even though we don't play together now because he's taking a break from WoW, we still talk a lot more. Thank you, Internet.
