Generally a healer, cause I enjoy playing with bigger groups of people, and I figure most of them don't enjoy healing as much as I do lol.
I usually play rogues, but not a ranged role; I loved dualwielding and being a sneaky ambusher type of character.
Actually i don't like playing casters, but if their AoE spells are really good i might give the caster a try. Almost everytime i choose to play something like warrior but more like rogue/monk.
I always play a sneaky thief type. I love to hit from the shadows and pick locks and pockets.
I usually play a ranged class (either a ranged Rogue or a Ranger). Nothing like a stealthy poisoned arrow to kill someone quickly.
Oddly enough, I really enjoy pet classes in games. For Kingdoms of Amalur I am going to do a warrior/mage hybrid for nice chakram damage with pets to help.
My general preference is for complex support-type characters over direct damage dealers. (WoW doesn't really use this type of role anymore.) I dislike most pet classes, though.

I generally play the ranger type, or a hybrid spellsword of some sort. Sneaky but with some honor.
Usually i play as Paladin or any class that has holy power. ;)
Usualy I play a Hunter or Ranged type role. Generaly like to stand back and apply damage while others are up close.
I generally play a caster. I have a mage,a warlock,a priest,a shaman (healer),a druid (resto/boomkin) and a holy paladin
I've always been inclined towards magic casters.
I make up a complex character I call Doomsayer in every RPG I play. SpeechcraftSome sort of sword skillDark Magic i.e. necromancy or destruction basedI always run around hooded even if I have some super strong armor and my abodes are ritualistic, having many candles, skulls and maybe a center piece book.
I usually play a healer if needed in multiplayer RPGs, for single player I prefer a stealth/light armour style. Either a monk if available as in NWN or a thief class.
I'm always damage, usually melee but if I ever feel like playing ranged, always a hunter. I'm a diverse type, my moods change so I play a variety of classes, but aside from my hunter I prefer druid and paladin. But always always damage and usually melee :) DPS may be a dime a dozen but GOOD DPS is getting hard to come by. I always enjoy doing damage and I don't mind dealing it by claw but I do love my blades, whether it's two-handers or a pair of one-handers.
