I tend to play classes that can be Healers/dpsers/tanks, like the paladin in wow or the bounty hunter (healer/dps) in swtor. I like to be able to change my role in f.example a raid or a RBG group.

Healer or ranged. I like being able to recover my health and not be near enemy :)
I like to play the nature-centric classes, whether that be druid, shaman, naturalist, hedge wizard, etc.
Well i like mixing it up alittle if possible so that i am capable of doing damage both in close combat and at range( i prefer if the ranged damage is magical but bows and such work as well). So i'm the type that likes to play everything :D but if im only able to choose one it would be something caster like.
I usually play spellcasters such as warlocks and wizards
usually a warrior. If there is an option - then some hybrid class (like my main shaman :3)
priest! I sort of hate it, because I feel like girls are always cast as the healers, but meh, I can't help it. (Though usually I don't heal, DPS FTW!) Been playing a priest since D&D second edition THAC0! and will always at least check them out.
I almost always play the 2 handed warrior/barbarian type character.
Ranger/hunter style of class where available. I'd rather do the killing without taking damage if possible.
I like playing a DPS class, i tend to favor melee, but recently i've started to develop a love for range classes..
If I ever role play, which I enjoy doing a lot, I'm always a ranger. I have always loved this class ever since I went to a camp and did the archery range there. I was only eight then and it was my first time doing it. A couple of test shots completely missed the target, but of course, what wouldn't? But the next shot was different. I settled myself down, and concentrated. I aimed in a way that was probably incorrect, but it was the only thing I could think of at the time. I was in that pose for about a minuet and then I let it go. The arrow sailed through the air towards the target and hit with a quiet thud. I looked closely at it poking out of the target. It had made a bulls-eye! I can't express my feelings of how I felt at that moment, but it was then that I said, "I'm a ranger!"It's been that way ever since.
Hi. When playing RPG's, i like to be warrior or any close-combat type of character that is fighting with swords, especially with two . I will play such type in Kingdoms of Amalur... What i would really like is if those faeblades can be wielded by a warrior and not just rogue, but i think it will be possible, 'cause the game will be very diverse as you say ...
