I like playing a sneaky backstabing rouge or go completly opposite and go mage....weird I know
I'm a melee fan, with big swords, axes and maces... Close range combat was allways something that pulled me in and never let me go... Pure str power in build and rock'n roll... Paladin, Warrior, Death Knigh...
I typically go for the melee / warrior classes in rpgs, theres nothing more fun than running in causing a bloodshed :)

the genre of the RPG determines the class I choose. For SciFi its usually an Engineer class. For Fantasy its either a Ranger(or Hunter) or a Necromancer.
2h melee, gief special edition :<
I'm usualy playing healer or something like that.. like the feeling that you get to save your teammates and be of help for everyone :)
Personally, i always play a range *physical* class like hunter, but these last few games i've played, ive been a melee brute class *pref. a DW, i dont really like shields*. THANK YOU, COME AGAIN!
I often find myself to be the supportive character. In World of Warcraft that indicates the healer, in other RPG's (such as Neverwinter Nights) I played the Bodyguard. I'm defending my friends and team mates by shielding them from harm or healing their injuries.
I usually play the Wizard, Mage etc. type character as my main character, a direct-damage caster without a pet.
always a range class
I usually don't play casters, I enjoy ranged DPS but I also like Melee Classes.
I prefer to play the Warrior/Paladin type classes, where I can wear big armor, big weapons, big shield, etc.I just prefer the looks of those types over cloth wearers and others. Plus going around beatin' on people is fun! :)
