Hello! =) I rly like being a healer. Priest, Shaman or something like a Paladin who can do melee attacks and heal yourself.
The class I choose varies based off the style of RPG I am playing. For MMO's I prefer more solid melee classes. Warriors, Paladins, Red Heavy *cough*.... But for single-player RPG's such as Skyrim, or Diablo, I tend to stick with rogue or archer archetypes. Having people to support you in combat allows more confidence to wade into the thick of battle. While being alone makes me more cautious, more likely to play a class that can slip quietly away from the fight if needed.
I greatly enjoy playing a heavy melee dps class in RPG games. CRASH AND SMASH!
DPS, all the way. In WoW I started with a hunter. Later made a priest for healing, but eventually went shadow on him. Then I played most of the melee DPS on a regular basis.
I'm well-rounded, I enjoy close quarter combat as much as long ranged combat. If I had to choose between the two though, I would most definitely go with the Rogue. Finishing your opponent off with a stylish or subtle move will always put a sinister smile on my face. Just the idea of being subtle pleases me. Oh what's that? 10 guards guarding a pathway, no problem. Subtlety is my specialty, enters stealth, see? Oh wait. :D "Now you see me, now you don't!"
I always play the class needed to get a balanced group, and in the case i dont know everyone else's classes, I try to play the least played class in the previous campaingsI have never played a basic rogue tho
lets see usually when I'm playing RPG's i tend to go caster roles, long distance and huge AOE damage makes me smile. I also have a tendency to go melee ether its DPS or tank cause there's some days you just wanna reach out and punch something in the face REALLY HARD....ya those days are for melee, tho with games like Dragon Age, I had a battle mage...huge caster spells but can handle his own in melee so really I don't have a certain class cause each one has its own positives and negatives and some are just uber like battle mages lol.
I pretty much always go with a 2handed melee fighter-type
I love playing casters. My Wow main is a Balance Druid and she's just about perfect. She gives me enough variety that I'm never bored with her. She can stand back and sling spells, heal herself and then sling some more. She can wade into a group of MOBs and when it's finished, a dozen lay dead at her feet. If she's played it right, she remains almost untouched. She's a bird, a cat, a bear, a seal.... she can fly, swim, run and roar. She's invisible... she's... everytihing. And, since she's a Night Elf, she's beautiful as well. Natural Magic is a beautiful thing.
Always a mage! Gotta blow stuff up with my magic!
Always a caster in solo RPG's. Rangers seem to be too clunky for my taste in almost every single player RPG.
I usually always play a magic class... mage, sorcerer, wizard, conjurer.
I love playing the acolyte who seeks after archaic knowledge and long lost arcane spells, so much fun going down in those dungeons looking for musty old scrolls. :-)
