Always a warrior. Mostly sword 'n board.
Melee. Although in exceptionally good games such as d2, i enjoy every class.
In Rbg's I commonly like to play the class that comes with utility. But in the common Rogue Mage Warrior setup, I more often play an offensive built warrior.
I like to play melee classes, anything that can take a few hits if i have to leave my toon unattended. Allthough i'd play caster or healer if noone else wants to.
Usualy i play "Melee" duelwielding classes in RPG's, and if possible i try to combine it with magic, i love my duelwielding-battlemage-necromancer-thief in skyrim ^^
Melee DPS whether it be a rogue, pally or shammy, there's nothing that gives me more pleasure than seeing my screen filled with many many large numbers and seeing an enemies' HP drop faster than Haris Pilton's underwear. XD

My first pick is almost always the rogue. :) However, I've played the KoA demo, and must say that I'm very much intrigued by the Universalist option.
In all RPGs I ever play I tend to take the path of the Archer/Ranger. Dishing out torture and massacring my enemies from afar is just too much fun! Casters are usually too soft and the casting times don't appeal to me and warriors/ rogues are cool but I prefer the skill taken to destroy your enemies before they can touch you. I'm really looking forward to KoA:R's class system!
I'm a big fan of whatever lets you use a massive weapon. Warriors, paladins, berserkers, whatever class lets you swing around a sword or axe as big as you are. I like big blades and I cannot lie.
It seems like i choose the class that fits me at the time. Looking back at Elder Scrolls, Warcraft, Diablo and such, I would say i have played all classes with the same gusto. Thanks for the opportunity to get a nice jump into the new Kingdom of Amular.
I usually play casters. I like tanky casters too. I love life draining or absorb spells.
I usually prefer to switch between a rogue and a mage-type, preferrably mixing the two if possible.I've got a archer/firemage type build going on in Skyrim :D Fwoosh!
I usually play a warrior / tank on my first play through and then a caster when i know what im doing for the 2nd run of a game.apart from WoW i started as a mage from the start... lol
I usually pick a healer or mage/support type. I'd rather stand in the back and help than soak up the attention forefront.
I love playing mages, as I like the variety they afford, a jack of all trades, usually, like me.
