mage/battle mage or rouge
Typically I play the melee dps / tanking type class (feral druid, paladin prot/ret, warrior prot/fury), but lately I've been trying ranged dps / healing classes and liking it too (shaman ele/resto, priest shadow/disc).
When I play RPGs I tend to play something that fits the mood i am in, such as when I feel a little frustrated I will play a class that can tank and spank the big critters, other times I play as some that heals or even ranged where I don't have to get into somethings face to kill it. All of the characters I have on any of the rpgs that I own represent a particular mood and style of playing because I am never exactly the same when I log on or start the game disc as I was the last time I played.
I usually play the wizard-warlock type. I especially love it if I can summon minions to do my bidding :D
I always gravitate towards the warrior/barbarian types. I'm a jump in and slaughter kinda girl. No time to dilly dally with magic and sparkles.

I prefer the healer role. Leader for D&D 4.0. In SWTOR I went the caster Jedi (Sage). If a class has mana and casts spells from ranged, I usually pick it.
What class I do usually play? Tough question! I think mage/warrior is what I tend to aim to. Battlemage, you could say!
A warrior, and if possible a paladin. Just love to rush trough enemies, preferbly with some awesome spells. :)
I usually play with a range weapon, be it a bow, gun, or otherwise. Something about the ranger/gunslinger type just appeals to me.
A Wizard Archer / sometime stabbie in the back. i love the idea of a RPG with the depth of skyrim but with combat that's a challenge. sign me up please
I'm always the healer, I like to help and support others and that's definetly the best way of doing it in many games.
Hmm... what class do I play in a RPG. Why does it have to be one class? Why can't it be... more than one? Bleh okay, so thinking about that I have to say that the class I sway to most in RPGs is the Warrior. No matter if I am playing an older RPG like Baldur's Gate, or a more modern RPG like Dragon Age I always find myself wearing heavy armor and smacking away at enemies with a sword or some other melee weapon. Whenever I play a warrior I picture myself in the shoes of Buliwyf (13th Warrior film, played by Vladimir Kulich. Looks a lot like an older version of Arthas) hacking and slashing my way through legions of enemies. That's not to say that I don't appreciate the spell or rogue side of things. I played a battle-mage in Skyrim, heavy armor + spells of death and destruction? Yes please.
