I pretty much have no interest in playing Wrath anymore.I think Blizzard really screwed up in how they released raid content in this expansion.I miss the days when I had a choice of 5+ raid instances to chose from where the gear was useful.

How can you play this game without moderation and then wonder why you're getting bored? Play something else and take a break.Honestly, I lost interest the moment they announced Cataclysm. My account has been dormant since and my Wii has gotten some much needed attention.
I know what you mean although I didn't achieve as much as you I got tired with the game a bitI'm personally taking a break from the game which is probably what you need a week or 2 away from the gameI'm personally kind of quit for the time being and am focusing on regaining my SC skills for now especially with the new keep in touch with WoW and SC2 friends thing their adding
Starcraft 2 guys... Starcraft 2.
It feels like Wotlk just went to quick...Like how many months after release theyre like.Blizz guy:"LETS RELEASE THE ICECROWN CITADEL WOOTZ"Then were already done with it.
Whether we like it or not, WoW is a game and a game needs to be entertaining to keep us playing. It can't really come as a shock to you that the endless achievement farming and raiding, pretty much all being repetitive, will get you sick and tired of playing in the end now can it? I realize though, that you might just be asking for advice on how to keep playing with the same enthusiasm that you seem to have lost. However I don't think theres much to say except this:
I have never taken a real "break" from wow like alot of other people had and I belive this is due to my guild mainly. We're a social guild more than anything else but we also raid and have a good old laugh about it, we're cleared almost everything but the LK still stands and yogg is still alive... somehow, and don't get me started on hardmodes. But I think it is this lack of having done everything that keeps me playing whenever I log on I always manage to find something else to do, I am the person with the most achievement points in the guild (about 7500 atm) and have a stong 5.7k GS but it's the fact that we haven't done everything and I enjoy the company of my guild so much that makes me play it asif it's a second life :)
Yea, I feel the same way. I have yet to defeat the Lich King, but once I do I feel like there won't be much else to shoot for. I've run into a wall in arenas. BGs are still kinda fun, but that can only last me so long. I'm nearing 9000 achievement points and I'm starting to scrape the bottom of the barrel (I did To All The Squirrels I've Loved Before last night).Hopefully they release another arena season before Cataclysm ships just to keep things fresh. I also hope that the upcoming Ruby Sanctum patch comes with a few class changes because I really think that certain classes *cough* shadow priests *cough* need a good nerf.
Yeah, I think Wrath is dragging on it bit too long. Ruby Sanctum is one boss, that's not gonna hold anyone over who's already bored. All I do is mess around on alts now, and I plan to let my account expire at the end of this month. May as well take a break till Cataclysm.
I can understand that those who have reached the top of the game can feel bored. My own experience is more like those who say they play more casually. I have a level 73 and a whole bunch of low-level alts. I am always trying to see new parts of Azeroth by creating new alts, instead of by leveling my main. I know its unorthodox, but this is how I like to play. I also enjoy exploring and crafting a lot, and have only recently got into doing dungeons. Given this, LK is not exhausted for me. In fact, Burning Crusade is not exhausted for me.The impending arrival of Cataclysm is actually making me feel a bit of anxiety that I might not get to see all the beautiful things in the old Azeroth before it changes. I am suddenly playing more, rather than less, so that I will be "ready" for Cataclysm. I realize most people probably don't play the way I do, but I thought a different point of view might be beneficial to the discussion.
