I have to say that I collected about 250/300 in about 1.5hrs in Dolanaar (during peak hours). I overshot how much I needed because I want all the achievements, didn't look to see that my loot overflowed into another bag I didn't have open and stealing eggs from other people is fun when you get one about 1ms before someone else :)I would highly recommend Dolanaar overall. One great tip is that there are about 5-6 eggs toward the south of the town around a circle made of stones. Look in the bushes around it and then there's another 3 in bushes infront of a tree next to the fountain located in the same area.Or install GatherMate add-on via Curse and it marks the locations 100% accurately in Dolanaar....not sure about anywhere else.

My favorite spot for egg hunting is Azure Watch. If you stand at the forge facing south you have 4 egg spawn points in your line of sight. Panning your camera around shows another 4 right behind you.Oddly enough, the wagon behind the forge in Falconwing Square is a great spot to camp if you're Horde. Again - 4 eggs right in sight, and panning the camera around reveals 6 more egg spawns around you. Blizz must like sticking the eggs around forges. :PAlso - while many people seem to be having issues finding female Dwarves, on Dalaran-US everyone is having trouble finding female Orcs. People are seriously offering 100g for them. And in a very, VERY strange twist (given their prevalence the other 51 weeks of the year) - female Gnomes are in short supply.
For the achievement: Hard boiled. For number 4 you put
cute little tauren ftw
For Alliance, the best place I've farmed in my experience is Azure Watch. The forge location has been mentioned, but another good place is the crystal structure in the center of town. There is almost always an egg spawning in the gaps in the structure or near one of the benches. But the BEST place in Azure Watch is in the north east corner of the town, behind the buildings that house the warrior/mage trainers (I think, been a while since I've been there). There's between 5-6 spawn points behind there, with two other points visible (Under lightposts on paths exiting the north and east of the town itself). There is almost always an egg spawning back there, even before the respawn rate was boosted. For Horde, my experience has led me to name Falconwing Square as the best place to hunt for eggs. Behing the wagon/forge is a good spot, but it's usually camped. The fountain in the center of the square is the best place to find eggs. There is 4-6 spawn points in the fountain itself (You can't actually jump into the fountain, but you can interact with the eggs just the same) and spawn points under each of the three benches around the fountain itself. The bench eggs are a little finicky though, since you have to be careful you don't interact with the bench to sit instead of looting your egg.Bloodhoof Village is also a decent place to look for eggs for its tendency to be completely deserted, even during peak hours. Collect all of your chocolate first to do your Chocolate Lover and Chocoholic achievements first, since you'll probably end up with most of the purchased items by the time you loot enough chocolate. After getting everything, my paladin was missing the Spring Rabbit's Foot and I had already finished Chocolate Lover and Chocoholic. Guess what I looted on my 100th egg. -_-And don't forget about the trump card you have for beating the rarity of some female races. DEATH KNIGHTS. Surely you can find someone who hasn't made a DK yet to roll one of the race people need. And low level people can complete the meta with some help. My lvl 35 priest completed it last night with the help of a nice hunter and a passenger mammoth. ^_^
