Draenei. They sorta got shafted in Wrath. Seeing as they dont plan on leaving Azeroth yet, what impact will they make in Cataclysm?
More ideas as I read everyone else's, lol.... 1) Path of the Titans hasn't gotten much coverage since the last Blizzcon, but it seems to be taking the place of the bland passive talent points. Are there plans to make this something flavorful instead of the just a min/max tool? I really like the idea of the Archaeology profession, but I'm curious to see how it gets fleshed out, both in terms of how it is leveled up as well as its benefits.2) Is flying ever something you would consider again for a boss encounter? Malygos' vehicles took some getting used to, but had a reasonably fun feel to them, though I think the camera angles were what threw people off on that one, not handling 3D movement. On a related note, would you ever allow for us to use our flying mounts inside a dungeon or raid? With Skywall and the Air Elementals getting some attention in Cataclysm, I could definitely see the potential:You could have a raid encounter where a portion or all of the raid jumps on their mounts to either combat the boss directly (similar to Malygos), achieve some buff or complete a world-interaction mechanic (similar to Dreamwalker's portals), or even have a flying gauntlet where you literally fight against the winds to reach an objective or location. ** On that note: keep the gauntlets coming! ZA's Akil'zon run and Thorim's tunnel were some of my favorite fights**Mount speed scales could be addressed easily and thematically too, with a simple debuff:Raging Winds"Al'Akir's mastery of the winds limits your speed while flying"Ideas a'plenty. While the wheels are turning...3) Is there any raid mechanic, gimmick, or even environmental design element that Ghostcrawler would like to have in the game someday that has yet to be used?
Meh, my question:As I've understood it, Path of the Titans will give "limited progression per week" (quoted by the Wowhead section on it), however does that not give a too big disadvantage for those "unfortunate enough" to take a two week vacation with the family, since they can't keep up with the path. Or will the progression be limited by "gating"?
are shadow priests gonna finally get a dps cooldown other than a racial/power infusion from another priest?
Will heirloom items provide an experience boost right from level 80?
Not sure if other people mentioned this, since I really don't have the time to read through 11 pages, but:Regarding VengeanceWhile I understand the general idea (scaling threat and damage with an adjustable knob is sane), doesn't scaling Vengeance from stamina pretty much guarantee not only a continuation, but even a strengthening of the "stam-stacking is the only way to gear tanks" mentality? When I heard about the higher health pools and lower (comparative) healing, I was getting excited about tanks being able to make intelligent decisions again, with avoidance making a comeback for solid physical fights, stam-stacking for magic fights, etc but, honestly, Vengeance seems to be the trump card that will just throw it all out the window and make us treat every gem slot as blue, and ignore any trinket that isn't pure stam.If the goal was to scale our threat and damage with iLevel (which seems to be the goal?), why not just say that in the tooltip and be done with it? iLevel is exposed in the default UI now. And if that's not RP enough, then scale it with armor, which scales with iLevel. Sure, we already have that exact talent in fury, but I don't mind getting it twice.
Will the Draenei actually do anything in Cataclysm?
