If they are still giving the Hyjal dailies in patch 4.1 then i actually don't mind waiting for the raid. Since there are no real quests that give Hyjal rep beyond the zone's story quests, that left only the tabard rep to reach Exalted.Running random heroics with pugs is downright painful right now compared to how easy it was in WOTLK. Unless they nerf the dungeon difficulty, daily quests are actually a legitimate method for rep grinds right now, so i still would have PLENTY to do before Firelands in 4.2 (granted if you are hardcore enough for this patch delay to even be a detriment to you at all, you're probably way past exalted with Hyjal already..., but my point still stands to the mainstream WoW player).Better to eat one ice cream sundae this weekend and the one more on the next weekend rather than trying to eat two sundaes in one sitting. Bombarding me with too much ice cream at once is just gonna make my belly sick.
I prefer smaller patches, and I do think that this tier needs more time . I like this change and think bringing new "higher tier" heroics and some other new content in a little before the next raid sounds good :)It's not like 4.1 won't contain ANY new content...they're just holding off on the new raid, seems like a good plan to me. Also, ptr'ing the raid seperate will hopefully give it more time and attention regarding bugs and balance that they might not be able to devote to it if it was being tested at the same time as new dungeons, quests, and (non-raid-related) achievements. Also, feel for the person being interviewed, they really got the word monolith stuck in their head, inner thesaurus FAIL hehe >.< (No, that never ever happens to me lolz)
I guess it's -not- TOO SOON, EXECUTUS! TOO SOON! And we won't be purged by fire or taste the flames of Sulfron!
Some people should accept the fact that what is done is done, and that they cannot change the outcome, and that everyone has their own opinion.
So it's totally alright for them to release Nef(the supposed main boss for Cata) immediately but not Rag. Cool, guys. Cool.
Nefarion is the son of DeathwingDeathwing is Neltharion
Blizzard even says on one of the loading screen tips to "take all things in moderation, even World of Warcraft." If you're already farming heroic Cataclysm raids, you're not taking things in moderation. If you're bored by the game because you've already beaten the snot out of it, then take a break and save a few dollars every month. I'm willing to bet that there are 8 million players or more who have yet to clear all the Cataclysm raids on normal (me being one).
I've downed Magmaw :D
