I have played WOW since open beta as a Holy mostly Pally. My favorite tier set was and is still tier 2 Judgement set. It was by far and still is one of the coolest sets of armor ever.
Warbringer Battlegear (Warrior T4) is my favorite. Not only does it look pretty awesome but it has the most meaning to me.I started playing WoW a few weeks after Burning Crusade released and I remember the feeling of going from a total noob to having the 4 piece Tier bonus after a few months of being level 70. I loved strutting around in Org showing off my armor before a lot of people had even seen what it looked like. While I do have very found memories of Karahzan, working on Gruul and getting the T4 legs off our first kill was awesome and a memory I will never forget. Since then I have always wanted to be on the bleeding edge of content and experience all the end game bosses. Maybe T12 will replace T4 as my favorite but i doubt it :)
Warrior Teir 3 is still one of my all time favorites. All of teir 3 is soo identifiable to the the exact lore it was released/corresponds with. The warrior set just looks the most like actual Plate armor you could SEE a warrior wearing.
Gronnstalker's ArmorMy favorite is the hunter tier 6, its a great red color with the famous eyeball helmet!

Hunter T10 Raid Gear - Ahn'Kahar Blood Hunter's BattlegearI loved the helm especially, because it makes me feel like a Rhino
The T12 for DK's just looks sick.
I'd have to say tier 11, not only because it's the new hotness, but because as a druid... wings on the shoulders sure beats a big one eyed freaky monster looking plant. Boo Lasherweave.
Malorne Harnes is my all-time fave. Fits the name and the class so well whlie being badass to boot :3
I absolutely love the Warlock T2 Nemesis set. The purple and green look wonderfully plague-and-death filled along with the skull helm and shoulders scream a beautiful combination of Warlock destruction (the skulls), fel demonology (the glowing aura and celebrated purple meaning rank of high capability), and affliction (the green, representing sickness and disease). I feel like none of the other tier sets were as lovingly and equally thought out to the extent of the T2 Warlock set.
My favorite tier set of all time is tier 3 paladin because it makes anyone's character look like a powerranger
The Hunter Tier 4: Demon Stalker armor set is still my favorite tiered armor set.I also like it's PVP counter-part the Hunter Arena Season 1: Gladiator's Pursuit armor set. They were nearly identical besides the coloring and shading of the two sets. In my humble opinion it looks especially wicked on a Draenei or Tauren Hunter. I remember a friend seeing me after a hiatus from WoW. When he came back I had the Onyx Netherwing Drake and those armor sets.I pull those sets out from time-to-time while I'm riding the Headless Horseman's Mount for maximum effect.
I personally like every single set the art is always unique and brings players new toys to enjoy the game with and brag to all there friends (or enemies). But if i was to choose one it would have to be the most current which has the highest stats to bring the game to a new level and adds an addictive element to the game.
Warlock T6 was the best. I particularly loved watching the wings "twitching" after the warlock died.
