Being a rogue I'm bias to Tier 2 Bloodfang rogue armor. Outside of that Tier 3 Warrior would have to be my favorite. I liked the color combo as well as the overall look. It was pretty cool for sure.
I'm partial to almost every druid set ever, but I have to say my favorite is a toss up between the understated awesomeness of the Feralheart (D2) set, and the white stag pwnage that is the Malorne (T4) set.

hmmm i would have to say the new Tier 12 Paladin set just because it looks Epic for healers finally paladins can look like cloth users ><
T9
Definitely the T9. It just fit so well with the pace of the game at the time. It was very well thought out and was fun to get.
My favorite was priest tier 8. The set bonuses were awesome, it had the right stats, and it looked awesome. Also, Ulduar is the best raid in history, ever. Algalon is still my favorite fight to this day.
Tier 3 Bonescyth Armor...Made me feel creepy like Anthony Hopkins wearing his Hannibal mask.
Definitely Rogue T2 because of black and red colors with "I just shanked you!" written all over it ;)
Priest T6! That's right. That gear was really awesome. I simply love amor with a nice silk hood instead of helmet (which looks really dumb on other than plate classes - you know, what's that? wooliron or silksteel? what kind of material is that thing made of lol). Also shoulders look amazing, nothing really disturbing, yet still looking badass enough. The glow effect was decent too, nothing too otherworldly like the glowing fog used on armor nowadays. Colors were nice too, though PvP variant of it, Vengeful Mooncloth, had even better colors (red+silver=win).I just regret that I haven't played back then, so I never got it. But be sure I'll get it as soon as I get my priest to 85 ..
From a purely aesthetic point the Season 1 Gladiator Warrior set is by far my favorite. Gladiator's Battlegear While it is a simple copy paste of the Warbringer Tier 4, the colors used for the pvp remake are much more dynamic and add a great deal more depth to the set. In my minds eye I can see the individual pieces of plate sliding over one another providing articulation and freedom of movement to the berserker encased in it. The appearance of still cooling metal is a fantastic effect. As if the warrior was still crafting his or her masterpiece and was called to arms. Helm and shoulders still glowing with heat from the furnace. It isn't overly flamboyant and brightly colored. It doesn't have huge parts hanging off of it. It is compact and purpose built. Spikes on the shoulders and light decoration on the head that don't provide handhold to those dastardly rogues.
I have to say the shaman T5 raid set. It is far more cataclysmic than our sets have been in this expansion. =P
The tier 2 Judgment Armor pally set. nothing looked better in my opinion, and maybe i miss the days of vanilla.
I'm old school... I loved my devout pieces from Dungeon Set 1.... they made me feel clean and regal.
I personally loved mage T2, They looked like 2 giant water coolers belonged on the shoulder pads. Ahh the good old days of comparing mages to water coolers. Now they give us mana cakes and stuff. =( I think pretty much all the T2 armors were ridiculously funny.
