Shadowmoon Valley. Not as nifty as it used to be but I really wanted a netherdrake and spent alot of time out there in bc.
Grizzly Hills, the music was just too epic. Though it didn't have the greatest storyline ever, I could personally just relax in that zone forever.

My favorite zone is Vashj'ir. Although many seemed to have been annoyed by being underwater I loved questing here. The overall look of the entire zone is just gorgeous, I really felt like I was underwater. As an art student I really appreciated the attention to detail in creating a believable underwater world but still adding in some interesting creatures to both combat and avoid.
Tough choice. There's so many great zones. But I'm gonna go with Vashj'ir as my favorite I think. I know what you're thinking - "You're crazy! The underwater zone? Nobody likes that place." I do! Really! For one, it's the first time in my memory that underwater combat in an MMO has been done right. It plays so well. When they announced it, I flashed back to the Plane of Water in Everquest, and what an unpleasant experience that was. I was worried, but Blizzard pulled it off marvelously. Second, the questing experience and storyline is a lot of fun. Most of all though, I love the way it looks. The bright colored plants, the little fish swimming about, the ancient demigods. It's all so beautifully designed. I enjoy just swimming around, taking in the scenery. Oh, and of course, there's a gnomish submarine.
My favorite zone would have to be Zangarmarsh. The giant mushrooms are amazing looking to this day.
I would have to say Uldum is my favorite zone so far in the game. I think Blizzard did a fantastic job with creating this zone, and making it feel like you are in ancient Egypt.
Hillsbrad Foothills, because before there was battlegrounds, there was Hillsbrad Foothills. It was like a 24/7 wide open battleground, nothing compares to how that felt. Sure it was meant to be a questing zone, but the only questing that went on there was pushing the other faction back to their town.
My favorite zone is probably the Grizzly Hills, in Northrend. The music, mobs, environment, and pvp zone made it very memorable, for me. There was something cool about flying through the forest, over rivers, passed eagles and small skirmishes between furbolgs.
I think my favorite zone is Mount Hyjal because of the huge tree and the cool quests :D
The Hinterlands was my favorite zone, pre-Cataclysm. I've never really cared much for how the zone looked but I always liked questing there, even before the nerfed all the quests.
My favorite zone is any capital city, because Barrens Chat (or something darn close to it) lives on perpetually there, though there are of course periods of dormancy. I don't care for the stifling number of messages limit, though. It's a great way to make a few friends and many nemeses.
Un'goro Crater is defiantly a personal favorite. I have had the chance to visit Ngorongoro in Africa and can appreciate the great references in the zone. Plus, who doesn't love elite dinosaurs roaming around punishing adventurers for killing their non-elite companions. Of, course no favorite zone rant would be complete without a tip of the hat to Linken, who send us on a fantastic nostalgia ridden quest line, even though it probably didn't pay off in the end. Contest, or not it's hard to deny that Un'goro was the place to be...at least between lvls 50 and 55
I have always adored Mulgore. The rolling plains, my first adventure playing a tauren warrior. Was looking for the big kodo for about an hour since the quest said i should use my tracking skills, i followed packs of other kodos around :D
