It's hard to decide, many zone with epic quest line and lore both plaguelands pre and post cataclysm are great, but right now my favorite zone is Silverpine Forest with all it's lore, a great phasing and you fight side by side with Lady Sylvanas Windrunner. It's my leveling zone for all of my chars, regardless of race (well except ally ofc :P )

My favorite zone, is, by far, Uldum. I love the story line. I'm also really interested in the Lore of WoW. And, being able to help unearth some very new interesting things, was a lot of fun to me. Besides, who doesn't love camels?
I just loved Howling Fjord. First entering, hearing the music, going under the burning ship strung up high in the cliffs... It gave me a sense of wonder that I haven't felt in WoW since beta when I first walked into Stormwind and saw the statues on the bridge.
For me, it would have to be Ashenvale. I remember leveling my first character through that zone and just being awestruck. It was so beautiful. I nearly cried when I saw what The Shattering had done to it.
I like questing in Zul'Drak. Those quests are a lot of fun. But I always liked Wetlands back in the day running around looking for lock-boxes to level my rogue's lock-picking skills with gurgling Murlocs everywhere......very fun.
Storm Peaks, traversing the snowy mountain lands, watching the majestic proto drakes fly overhead and swoop down and snatch a rhino....coolest thing evar! Then as I explore....i see Ulduar.....and I am just frozen in amazement at the beauty of the titan facility.....but yet a horrible feeling.....corruption.....death was waiting for me there. Yar ngssh wshnn! Shurnab shurnab yogg saron!
Uldum is my favourite zone so far, Harrison Jones made me love going there and questing. So much fun. Made me feel like a movie star :D
Basicly any zone with hemet nessingwary (jr) in it :D
Old Hyjal, before it was completed. Being able to wander around there was awesome. Just getting in to it was an adventure. Hoping you wouldn't be cought. It was very sad when they flagged it as no mans land.
I'm going to have to go with the Azshara pre cataclysm. The beautiful scenery with the dragon wandering around, the gnomish laboratory on the coast, the site of the almost bg that lies deserted, which served as a constant testament to some great battle from long ago that I always imagined, to the pirates on the coast whom you could help defend from naga, to the H.Waterlords chilling off the coast handing out MC quest, to the sunken ship full of survivors a few hundred yards underwater kept alive only by a gnomes water breathing spell. Azshara has always just been a reminder of the beauty that wow has in it, and the fun secrets you could uncover if only you took the time to look for them.
My favorite zone would have to be the first zone I ever entered: Mulgor (pre-Cata, but post-Cata works too). Every time I open my map or fly through Mulgor, I always recall the wonder and awe I was filled with. I recall the "what's this?", the "ooooo what's that?", the "RUN!", and of course...the beauty. I remember tip-toeing through each new area while being filled with excitement and fear of what I may meet next.I may not be a Tauren anymore, but when I finally "hang up my hat" and log out for the last time, I know it will be where the adventure started: Mulgor.
Hi folks. Upon a lot of personal examination, I decided that wayyyyyy back in 2005, I enjoyed Felwood a lot. It had plenty of natural beauty, and linked up, at the time, with some game content (Winterspring) which was good for high-level people at the time. In Felwood I was introduced to the newish concept (stretch those memories, folks) of building reputation with a race before areas could be accessed. Awesome. Felwood retained more than 90% of its lush, over-wooded nature after the Captoclysm, yet the NPCs were mostly talking about the land's power to renew itself. I will admit I don't go there a bunch on my lvl85, but in 2005, when all of WoW was a new, fun experience, Felwood took the cake. In the present day, with Cata-quests, it still has plenty of charm going for it.Signed, Guspo Shandris world-server 85 Demonology Warlock
Mine would be Elwynn Forest it keeps reminding me to the day I first started a human female warlock, the sound of the music has been printed in my mind ever since.
