My favorite zone would have to be Uldum. Since forever, I've been interested in all that's related to ancient Egypt, their deities, culture, everything. As you might well know, Uldum is all that. Though I might not like every quest in there, the environment is my favorite. I really wish there was more items usable by characters that look like the ones used by the Tol'Vir.
Due to my favoritism of troll zones, my favorite zone was the hinterlands. Climbing the terraces with a group and fending off alliance was something to remember.
I must say there are so many interesting zones to chose from now that we have been through so much content. The most interesting to me by far has always been Netherstorm. As I leveled my way through all the Horde and neutral zones, everything was so fascinating... When I finally was high enough to enter Netherstorm I was amazed at how it could look so much like a wasteland and then to come up upon a manaforge, and see it running and how everything seemed to work around it was truly fascinating. Then to venture farther in and find something so beautiful as the Ecodome and Stormspire within, It was exciting and scary at the same time when you weren't sure what was hiding behind the next bush.
The most beautiful zone ingame is the maelstrom in stranglethorn cause its whirling stirling and theres always wonderful weather theres the sea and a wonderful coast. I love it!
For nostalgia reasons I have to say hillsbrad foot hills....not because of the PvP or anything like that just because of on my first toon I was exploring running all over the place LVL 20 at the time I think. I came around the bend into hillsbrad thought it looked great, kept running then I was zerged by 5 GIANT spiders who were the size of Volkswagen to me. It was a hilarious O snap moment and is a favorite story when I introduce friends to the game.

Uldum is my favorite. I love all of the quests, and the whole Indiana/Harrison Jones thing is like a bonus.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say a raid (that counts as a zone, right?).The battle for Mount Hyjal raid in Caverns of Time is my favorite by far. I am a lore junkie, and to get to fight against the Burning Legion alongside Jaina, Thrall, and Tyrande is just fantastic. Even when the actual Hyjal was put into the game, I flew around comparing it to the version in CoT. Finding the winding mountain path leading from the Horde base up to the summit and looking for little nooks and crannies in the terrain that I remembered from back in Burning Crusade. It brought all those great memories of raiding Hyjal flooding back.
my favorite zone is Feralas, its so green and i like to wooded areas.
My favourite zone is the Howling Fjord. I had a great time questing there for the first time. I also enjoy the background music.
The new Stonetalon Mountains is my favorite zone. It went from a rather annoying questing zone to a journey where you work your way through the ranks of Krom'gar's army while secretly being appalled by his extremist tactics. And then ending leaves you feeling extremely justified and shows you that Garrosh did learn a few lessons during his time in Northrend.
Pre-Cata: Nagrand. It had the most simple quest path that told a great deal of story.Post-Cata: Mulgore. I've always loved the zone (first character was Tauren, and most of the ones I've seriously played since have been too), but with the revamp, it was also a well-designed story-driven zone.
Grizzly Hills by far, I just love the way the zone looks along with the music that plays there. Makes it an epic experience when just flying through or questing.
