There's no place like Grizzly Hills, there's no place like Grizzly Hills, there's no place like Grizzly Hills. Clearly, I loved Grizzly Hills. Besides the gorgeous scenery (perfect forests, gorgeous cliffy beaches), the spectacular sound track (it is the ONLY zone I have ever turned WoW's sound on for), and the amazing quest lines (you get to deal with Vrykul, worgen and stone giants in one zone!), the attention to detail Blizzard paid to this zone was without a parallel throughout WotLK. They had Grizzly Bears fishing (successfully!) salmon out of the rivers! How much better can you get than hungry bears?
Duskwood, easy! Walking past the mostly abandoned Raven Hill seeing no one but Jitters (back in wrath), bumbling into Twilight Grove and seeing a world dragon, getting destroyed by Mor'ladim just wandering around, approaching Morbent Fel's house where the entire sky turns dark as night as you approach the house, oooh! That still gives me the chills. Coming up the stairs to that house and seeing a shielded wizard about to blow me away, and of course, (again, prior to cata), running back and forth for the embalmer, knowing I PROBABLY shouldn't, then finding out I let loose Stitches, and having to dread his long walk down the path. The entire zone has SUCH a scary movie feel, I love it!

I like ashenvale because if you do almost all the quest you can get a hat that transforms you into a different race an then you can say "sweeet" an then go finish eating your food.
Mine has to be Nagrand. I have a whole bunch of good memories there and the zone is simply amazing and beautiful. The color, layout, and quests in the zone always leave me coming back for more.
Hands down I would say Uldum. They got very creative with this one. Loved the Indiana Jones quest Lines. The mechanics were used very well through this. The dungeons are great. The only things bad about this place are that they have a lack of Rep given through out the quests and there is only 1 daily. Very fun place enjoyed it a lot.
My favorite zone is by far Stoneralon Mountains. There is no better zone to help out the Horde war machine!
My favorite zone is Winterspring. I love winter, I think the zone is absolutely gorgeous, and I adore the colorful and fantastical creatures that reside there.
My favorite zone was the old Eastern Plaguelands. I liked that zone so much, since I was done playing WC3 TFT and in some ways continued the lore (or in some cases explained some things) related to the undead plague and stuff.
My Fav zone is Uldum, the architecture there is just amazing and the cloud models are great. First time in a zone that the clouds are at a height that you can actually go through them to the other side.
Sure to prove an unpopular choice, but I always liked the doom and gloom of Shadowmoon valley. I deal for sneaking about in and where i ground out my first drake mount.
Howling Fjord, because of the awesome scenery, and nothing quite matches the music there and how it fits the zone, not to mention the build up to that first crescendo.
My favorite zone is New Wetlands but more specifically Menethil Harbor. The reason I feel so strongly about this location is because I remember getting into the first stages of Cataclysm beta and scouting out a bunch of the changes. On my sight seeing, I ventured over to Menethil via a flight point. When I landed and saw the entire city under water, my jaw hit the ground. At first I didn't know what to think, so I decided to go and explore it. As I did I started to feel like I was in Venice, Italy. After I fully explored the grand beauty of the area, I saved my hearth there. Minus a few boats cruising the water ways, I felt like I was living in my homelands. Menethil is by far one of the best changes to a zone I have seen in Cataclysm, and it shows what creativity blizzard developers have. Thanks for letting me share this story ^_^Tom
