Twilight Highlands, no bad quests there. Really easy and fast to level.
Surrounded by dilapidated houses, a chill runs down your spine as you hurry to unlock the door. A raven circles overhead, a foreboding icon of things to come.Once inside, ghostly visitors roam the halls. A party for the deceased, if you will. The eerie music bounces off the walls, echoing in your head and in the corridors. The party-goers don't take too nicely to your presence, and you and your friends are forced to slay them. You shiver, but remind yourself it's for the best, and you released their spirits. You know something is wrong when you find yourself playing the lead role in the opera of death. These haunted halls aren't simply a mansion, but a castle imbued with the power of perhaps the most powerful mage in history. You close your eyes, but you can't get the whispers out of your head. "What is this?" You holler to the heavens.A single voice responds."Welcome to Karazhan."
I'm still in love with Zangarmarsh. The giant mushrooms, bizarre beasts, and blue/purple colour scheme really captured the feeling of a lost, alien world. The marsh is, to me, the only Outland zone that really shows you that Draenor was a living, alien world. Also, Trolls and Cenarion Circle have to be the best combination for a fun, relaxed questing experience, and the Sporeggar are just plain adorable.

My favorite zone of all times is Dragonblight . I remember going in there after a quite boring time at borean tundra. It was AW3S0M3! Rescuing people with gryphons, blowing mine entrances and best of all the wrath gate chain quest I was so excited when I saw the cinematic, and what followed. You don t get to go in an empty undercity with an buff making you invulnerable everyday. But the best was helping out the dragons at shrines and wyrmrest temple. I remember myself saying omg when i saw that the quest reward from helping at the black dragonshrine was Lord prestor's cape and i was reading day of the dragon at the time( Lord prestor= Deathwing, geek epiphany )! And so I finally got to mee Krasus and all those guys I had read about in war of the ancients. I found it awesome that blizzar added the characters from the books in the game, or is it the game characters which were used for the books? Dunno anyway DB=best zone evaa and wrathgate=EPIC quest chainBtw forgot that it s also Naxx location and yhe one of obsidian and ruby sanctum, all awesome raids. Reins of the black drake FTW
I love Stranglethorn. The jungle aspect reminded me of home and there are so many beasts. I've always loved animals and as my main is a hunter, it was like Christmas.
Teldrassil. Back then when I started, I enjoyed running around and killing random harpies. Maybe it's because I like cats, moon related stuff and purple trees.
Post cata Redridge Mountains. Totally epic quests, Rambo NPC, tank battle, Rambo headband reward... It's pretty epic place. But pretty much all the remade zones are very nice, compared to everlasting boredom of Outland and Northrend (kill 10+/gather 10+ quests which kills all the fun, especially when there is not enough mobs to sweep it on 1 run or damn low chance to drop).
Well Hello all... My favorite onre is the old barrens before cata and really miss it so much... :-D
My favorite zone is Vashj'ir. I enjoy the zone so much I've done it 10 times. I may even have leveled a character JUST to to do the zone again... Don't judge me! I even did the zone for friend who hated the zone but wanted to get it done! I've been swimming all my life, even before I could walk. I've nearly even drowned myself a few times before I had the whole "you can't naturally breathe underwater" thing figured out. SCUBA diving has been my passion for over 17 years now, I love water! So when Vashj'ir came out I was so happy I may have cried a few tears of joy! I love the swimming and the sea horse! The story lines are so funny and the random things you find at the bottom of the ocean. I do the majority of my skinning and mining there as well. I love the colors and the way it makes me feel peaceful and at home. I like the random fishes and the critters, the plants and the hidden nooks all over! I love everything about the zone so much so, I wish I could move there! /sigh
Grizzly Hills! Living in Wisconsin has spoiled me with the natural beauty of coniferous forests. The music also takes me back to a time when logging was the life of a Wisconsinite, and the violin is just so relaxing. I've had many an AFK in that zone while working on papers, drawings, any excuse to hear the music.
My favorite zone is Ungoro Creator because it's the easiest to mine throium :P
Stonetalon Mountains Pre-Cata because this one time my friend and I were playing our rogues and between the two of us, both at level 25, we were able to kill a level 50 alliance paladin. One of the most fun times I've ever had playing wow.
MY favorite zone is and always will be Mulgore. For some reason Thunder Bluff particularly has a special place in my heart, I love those freaking Tauren.
My favorite zone is Thousand Needles. I Love how it changed from a huge canyon to a huge swimmingpool :DAll I need is the swimmingmount that has been added.
Gotta pick Karazhan, it was a great raid and I had some good times.
You always remember your first.....I've had a chance to play most races (at least through their starting zones) going all the way back to vanilla WoW. However, the very first character I rolled was a Night Elf Rogue. There was something magical about Teldrassil. Between the visuals and the music I truly felt like I was there. Every time I hear that music I flash back to where my WoW journey began. Great memories!
Nagrand. Without a doubt. That's what made me start playing wow. I love the nature and it's so exotic, and it's like the home of the original orcs and i just have so much memories of that zone so that is definitly my best zone.
