Perhaps you will laugh at me, but my favourite zone is actually the original Dun Morogh. It's where I first entered the World of Warcraft, as a dwarf hunter. I was so impressed by the zone in the trailer, and I have to say it actually lived up to my expectations. Something with the snow and the mountains makes it really impressive and beautiful, and not to mention the awesome city of Ironforge. Perhaps the quests are not the best there , but something with Dun Morogh makes me feel at home.
Hellfire Peninsula because its the first outland zone i walked into and I was just speechless when I looked up at the sky and see other plants and whicked colours.
I've always been a fan of Tanaris, spent far too much time there for anyone to count. Pretty fun zone.
Uldum was probably my favorite zone. It had fantastic quests, and the cut scenes were super cheesy and awesome.
My favorite zone that I really enjoyed was Duskwood. This was a dark a creepy zone for Alliance characters and Horde would love to come over and cause trouble so nice place to introduce PvP.
Thousand Islands..... errr... I mean Thousand Needles has got to be the greatest zone in WoW. High-diving off of broken elevators is just so fulfilling.
When i was leveling my first character i was amazed and excited to go to Outlands. Fell in love with Hellfire Peninsula, as soon as i saw those big demons (me being a warlock) my jaw dropped.
My favorite zone is Shadowmoon Valley. It's really hard to choose between all of the BC zones just because i loved all of them, but the questing in SMV was amazing.
My favourite zone is Stranglethorn Vale, because that zone is pain in ass for people who is lvling. I really like ganking low lvls.I remember when I was lvling my first character in STV, I got killed all the time. Also there is sometimes PvP events and fishing contest every sunday. And ofcourse Gurubashi Arena. Was so fun pwning all nubs in Gurubashi Arena.
Nagrand hands down. When I first played TBC content I was taken aback on how visually stunning Nagrand was.
Nagrand is still my favorite. It's gorgeous, has a great questline (Greatmother), and of course the original ring of blood!
Nagrand has always been my favorite, to see what Draenor looked like prior to all the silly Orclocks making a mess of it.
Nagrand. An alien place that looks like home. And you can't beat a map with Nesigwary :p

Ashenvale! Before Cataclysm... It was the place where I spent probably more than month just questing in vanilla with my rogue, when I didn't even know how to use map :D So I got lost couple of times, and because of the quests were messy level-wise, I tried to solo 5 level higher mobs and kill horde guards, and whatnot. Ashenvale felt so huge, so incredibly huge, I got lost so many times, and stopped just to look around the scenery many times. I felt like true adventurer! Oh and let's not even mention the elite dragons north of Forest Song...
Sholazar Basin, I love the waterfalls, the rivers, the lakes, the tropic theme including swamps etc. Definitely has the most idyllic and romantic spots in there.
I've always liked Westfall. It was one of the first memorable areas I went into when I first started playing and it's only gotten better since Cataclysm.
This is a hard one for me.There are a lot of zones of which I have fond memories, including Netherstorm, Vashj'ir, Scholazar Basin, and the list goes on and on.In the end I'll go with Nagrand. I enjoyed the quests in there, and still do when leveling alts. To me the Nesingwary quests never get old! While being fun to level in, it's also quite a sight to look at. I don't think many people would disagree with me here.So there you go. :)-Wessel/Alrandia
