Uld25 drake meta, despite taking us a couple extra tiers (started halfway through ICC simply for the Val'anyr guild cheevo) it still felt great downing Yogg-0 and Firefighter etc. and finally getting both Val'anyr and the meta the same week (promised we wouldn't do Razorscale until then). Rewarding ourselves (those that showed up every week, wasn't exactly mandatory) with something to hold over our less... dedicated guildies. Made for a lot of drunk vent raiding with a ton of just screwing around compared to srs bsns ICC H25 progression nights.
Me favorite achievement is Loremaster. Even tho i am still working towards getting it, its a achievement I MUST have. I am a Warcraft lore fan in general, I have read a lot of the actual books. War of the Ancients (all 3 parts and they are me favorite ones), Warcraft: Day of the Dragon, World of Warcraft: Beyond the Dark Portal and the 3 part manga books: World of Warcraft the Sunwell Trilogy. So ye I am a lore fan and me actual mane character is called Lightbringer (a referent to Uther the Lightbringer me favorite character). and I cant wait for the day that i will have the name Loremaster Lightbringer. Me second achievement should be Light of Down followed be Crusader ... since they have a paladin feel to it :)
I'm proud of my The Frostwing Halls (10 player) cuz when i was on it i spend a lot of time whit my wow friends, and it has a lot of fun nice times wiping, i'll never forget the sindragosa fight :P
For me it would be Loremaster, if I already had it. Unfortunately, thats still far away. For now im very proud of the 3000 quests achievement.
I felt proud to get it before the expansion.Believe it or not when I found out that the expansion of cataclysm was near Like a moron a spend hours doing Quest everywhere, when I was about to complete the achievement I didnt find more questgivers, I started reading the comments of Wowhead to see where I could get more quest to complete the achievements.A REALY NIGHTMARE!550 quest Loremaster of Eastern Kingdoms700 quest Loremaster of Kalimdor =DThks WoWHead for helping with the achievement and everyone who made commentsNow it is much easier to get
Srsly you guize? Leeroy achi rock!/thread
Mine would be What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been because that's a whole year of dedication and I actually managed to get School of Hard Knocks, even though I suck at PVP.
I have 2 Achivements that I am insanely proud of.The first one is:www.wowhead.com/achievement=2079/tabard-of-the-protector There's a a lot to say about this one, it's my mark that I was there, in the good old days waiting for the Dark Portal to open and to move through and continue the adventures. It was the first expansion release and not one of us knew exactly what to expect. It was also the first time since I finished levelling to 60 that I seen so many people in the same place, fighting over the same mobs. Sporadic and open PvP. It also shown me the other side to WoW and the community in general. Named Mobs being camped, but a queue forming and groups being started to make sure it was fair. Sure there would be the random idiot who would charge right in, but for the most part it was civilized. My Other Favourite Achievement is Deathcharger's ReinsThis was a culmination of the biggest grind I ever set myself. From the first run In 2006 right through to the 18th May 2009 when It finally dropped. Even after the drop rate was buffed from 0.01% up to 1% it was still put a massive smile on my face when it finally dropped. The Armory tracked me at over 700 Baron kills, but god knows how many times I killed him before that. Sometimes I would run the instance solo 20-30 times day. Others only once. But It was almost every day. The hours spent perfecting my route through so that I I could shave extra seconds off the run. Going from 15 minute runs right down to 6-7 minutes. The pure elation when I finally saw that purple text in the loot window, and the many gratz that lit up the guild chat when I looted and learned the horse. I still ride around on it now, but the character has long been put to pasture, The mount being the one thing that will mean I will always return to her.
I would have to say my Explorer title. I achieved it at 72 when you could only fly after 77. Exploring Storm Peaks Scholazar Basin and Icecrown where a doozy. Storm Peaks was the hardest Ive never died so many times intentionally. I think I paid 40 something gold in repairs. It was amazing to get that title. First time I had to show some real patience with wow. I dont get to play that much so that one is my first major achievement.
I'm proud of achieving , it finally shows that you are dedicated to collecting (having 75 was rather easy).
For me is difficult to choose only one, but I'll go with I Have the Coolest Friends (25 player) because is real! I do have the coolest friends in game and in life!
The Patron/Matron title I have on 6 of my 80+ characters. 3 gotten last year, 3 gotten this year (just needed a few BG achieves and people stopped queuing last year).
My favorite achievement is Hand of A'dal because it represents the time of my World of Warcraft career when I had the most fun.
