My dearest moment was when I won my first arena battle, no doubt. I was trembling, sweating, breathless... It was about my 3rd arena and when I won the achievement for first victory I jumped off the chair, made that "yes!" move and, of course, I'll never foget it.
The moment I convinced my then-guild that bears are viable tanks as well, about 4-6 weeks after BC launched, when working on the Wizard of Oz opera event in Karazhan and controlling the mobs just didn't work, I picked up three of them and tanked them until the DPS finished killing them :)
One of my favorite memories is from when I first started playing. My druid (still my main nearly 6 years later!) had just hit level 10 and I really wanted to see Ironforge and everything in the Eastern Kingdoms. I thought I could swim there, so I proceeded to jump off Teldrassil, fall to my death and discover the auto-unstuck button. Later on, a RL friend showed me the perilous way to Eastern Kingdoms by taking the boat to Darkshore, running to Dustwallow to take the boat from Theramore to Wetlands and running through level 30 crockolisk infested lands to Ironforge. Still makes me laugh at how much of a noob I was back then!
My favorite moment was my first major boss downing.Back in burning crusade I just recently joined a guild that had just started SSC/TK. We managed all the bosses without too much difficulty except for Lady Vashj. We must have spent weeks wiping and wiping with her difficult symphony of movement from every member. Dodge this, kill that dont stand in this... But one night it was coming... the final stage. The goop was getting scary, her hp was going down... 5%... 4%... 3... 2... 1... then FINALLY we heard that sweet sound of "Lord Illidan, I... I am... sorry."After that you could see a spam of all over the screen but the funny part was is in there somewhere was that a rogue looted by accident which was to go to our hunter. Was a triumphant and hilarious evening for sure.
My favourite moment was when the Swift White Hawkstrider from Magister's Terrace dropped two times in a row for me and that twice.
My favourite moment would have to be the first time my guild downed C'Thun. We managed to get him down to 48% in phase 2 during the first vulnerability phase, and everybody was on edge. The second phase, he was down to 2%, and everybody was so excited, we were practically jumping out of our skin. After we knocked off that last 2% and finally killed the best boss in the game, there was a gigantic wave of noise on Vent as everybody started screaming and cheering. And then I took the set robes on my Priest. Take that, Mages and Warlocks.
The moment that I will never forget in WoW, was when my principal character, Dumpeal that is a Night elf Hunter, I cross for the first time the portal of darnassus and I knew that the game was not simply inside a tree, there were continents and any more persons who were playing, there were dungeons, we are in war with another faction and the limit of lvl was not 15...I was living in the tree for one month and I know every corner of the tree...xDLOL...
My favorite memory was raiding kara as a resto druid. 8D Back when tree form was slower and -not a stupid cool down-. Those were good days of the week. I used to look forward to raid nights back when kara was the good stuff. One time I was the last person alive, Aran was almost dead, and I moonfired him to death! Everyone in ventrilo cheered. It was great. For me, that's when raiding was at it's best socially. Burning Crusade!
My most fondest Warcraft memory was entering Stratholme with my at the time lvl 72 prot warrior and wondering if i would manage to solo it or get pounded into a pulp of beaten flesh by all the patrols and the debuffs and the linked packs that place used to haTo my great surprise, not only did i solo it without dying, the good baron was kind enough to "lend" me his mount, wich was just perfect for my undead =D
My favorite memory of wow was definitely my first raid of naxx on my DK. I had no idea what was going on, i sucked, and it was fun <3
