Losing Tol Barad and taking my raid in to the keep and killing off the guards and the ensuring no one was able to get or turn in the Baradin Hold dailies. World PvP was always my favorite aspect of the game, there's not enough of it anymore.
My best WoW experience involved dueling my brother's shadow priest outside of Karazhan, at the end of the duel I feared him into a mob. The whole raid group spent the rest of the night trying to work out how I killed my brother during a duel!

My favorite WoW memory comes from back in the Ulduar days. I was in a 25 man guild which also had a Hm 10's team running. We were by no means excellent players but we good friends and toughing it out through the hm's was good fun. Anyway the best of these moments has to be our first kill of Firefighter on 10 man. We had been working on this fight for what seemed like 100+ hours, we had people with dc issues and the group changed quite often. But the core 5 people of the guild were in it for the final kill. We got to Phase 4 (VOLTRON!) with everyone alive and it was looking pretty goodl, but as per usual mines, water bombs, lazers, shock blasts and fire killed us off slowly, slow enough that we got the head and tank to 0% all that was left was the chest, the enrage timer was 3 secs off, 1% on the chest. Only one issue, everyone bar an ele shaman was dead, as he dodged the fire, mines, lazers and other lazers he managed to get off a flame shock, the enrage timer hit 0 and the room filled with explosions. I swore loudly to my self, but then heard frantic screaming on vent, I looked up and saw that the boss was dead! According to recount the flame shock tick killed the chest and 0.5 s later the explosion killed the shaman. Best Kill Ever. Why is that my favorite wow moment, because I have never been so excited / surprised at the same time. IRL included.
My favourite moment from World of Warcraft was when there was the old pvp system and me and my friends spent days and days for the High Warlord grade.Fun on Ventrilo, Skype and TS... we were a fantastic and powerful group, I lov'd that period.
My favorite memory would have to be this;It was late in BC, LK was going to be released soon... World Bosses were still around a lot. A few friends & I went to the Twilight Grove in Duskwood. We kited the dragon out of Twilight Grove, & down along the path. It was amazing. I ran along ahead, all the way to Darkshire, screaming "RRUUUUUUUNNN IT'S GODZILLA!" as I arrived there. If you think lower leveled players are scared of Stitches, you should have seen the reactions to a giant skull level dragon barreling down the road!
My favourite memory was my first time on World of Warcraft. Back in Feb 2008 I made my first ever character a Night Elf Warrior while my Fiancée made a Night Elf Druid and we played alongside one another. At level 10 we took our first step into Warsong Gultch battleground not knowing what to do or what to expect. As achievements weren't around at this point I had a great time just ripping into the Horde who approached me and trying to kill the flag carriers who tried slipped by.I was killed several times of course but getting a flag capture and a few killing blows at level 10 was what encouraged me to dive deeper into PvP and gradually get a better understanding of how to play WoW.
Lots of memories.. i guess the first that comes to mind would be when i first bought my Traveler's Tundra Mammoth. Myself and two long time friends (whom i met in WoW) made a 3v3 arena team. We would queue and when we got the Ring of Valor map we would all jump on my Mammoth, as the match started we would dismount and then consequently, fall through the lift to the bottom of the elevator shaft. The match would start and we would be hidden down the bottom of the lift, after 20 seconds we would get teleported to the top of the map at which point we would try and zerg something down.We called the team 'Mammoth Surprise".
My favorite memory in WoW was back in season 3, we were rank 1 in 3v3 at the time playing Priest Rogue Lock. We were following closely on armory how the rank 2 team was doing. We could see that they were gaining on us so after a long talk on skype we decided to finally que up, and the que pop instantly. With our hearts beating out of our chests we waited eagerly to see who we were gonna face.Sure enough it was the rank 2 team, they were playing RMP which was a semi counter to our setup. I (priest) got sapped and they opened hard on our lock. Knowing that if i trinket the sap, i would be in a cc chain till the end of time, so i had to sit in the full duration of sap. When i finally got out the lock was on 40%, i topped him up and the fighting went on.After some minutes of fighting, both me and their priest was oom, so it was coming down to who would get the first kill. We finally got their mage down and started yelling on skype. But with me being oom and my rogue mate feared, our lock died as well. Me and my rogue mae decided to go all out so we both nuked their rogue while the enemy priest was drinking. We did manage to kill the rogue but I was completly oom and my rogue on 15%. The other priest now had full mana, he got a fear on the both of us and finished off my team mate. Now it came down to priest vs priest.... We fought for some time, both using our shadowfiends and other CD's....Realizing it was leading nowhere, we both tried ressing one of our mates. After trying a few times, we started ressing with what seemed to be synchronized...But thanks to my10 haste gem my ress went off a millisecond before his and as soon as it did, i used shadow word: death on him, interrupting his ress. My rogue mate and I then finished him off and we got 15 points and they lost 15.We were stunned with happiness and decided not to que since a 30 point lead was huge back then. This event is burned into my memory as the best moment of my long WoW career.
My favorite memory was breaking into Hyjal during Vanilla. It used to be possible towalljump over the edge of Darkwhisper Gorge (which was a part of Winterspring at that time) and into the incomplete zone of Mount Hyjal. One night, my friend watched a video of how to do so, and insisted that we try. Eventually we were able to get over the rocks and into the hidden zone.I remember being awed by the sheer size of the area. This was before the days of flying mounts or Crusader Aura, when going at 100% epic riding was a status icon and everyone hung on to their Carrot on a Stick. Riding through a zone as massive as Hyjal (which was roughly the same size at today's version) was incredible. At the very top stood the world tree with a group of tiny construction signs with the yellow and black caution stripes that said "under construction".My friend had also seen in a video of floating down to Auberdine from the top of the mountain, and he was eager to try it out. We were both Paladins, so he stocked up on Noggenfogger Elixir to spam to get the floating buff. I got 5 of them and assumed it would be enough. My friend successfully floated into the ocean to the west of Auberdine. He took a video of the five minute flight that I still have somewhere on here.I fell like a rock.
My favorite memory is oddly enough, acquiring my Warlock Dreadsteed using the old method; bell, book, and a full party of my guildies.
Wandering around SW as a total newb, I bought my first pet from a kid there...wasn't til my little sister asked my why i hadn't sold my white kitten that I realized that it was rare. lolI kinda miss those moments of absolute newbish enjoyment. lol
