The elation I felt when I reached a second character to level cap... Immediately followed by the regret that I did so, because YAY I get to regrind for rep and gear on another character. =\
I'd say mine was my first raid. It was at that point that I found that endgame didn't just involve mopping up old quests.
My Favorite memory was back when I was on my first toon, a NE Druid. This back during vanilla and i spent about 2 weeks leveling my resto druid in feral gear to lvl20 and had to leave NE starter zones. Up to that point i thought world was big, till i left that island. Floored me and i turned to my now wife and said "now i see why they call it 'World' of Warcraft"
My favourite World of Warcraft memory is from the very first time I played wow back in Vanilla. I had never played anything like it The incredibly large and open world conbined with a lot of epic quests oh and the feeling I had when I had my first toon level up to 60 and the late nights of trying to down bosses such as onyxia, Nefarian, Molten Core etc. damn i miss those times. Everytime I think of the thought of having 40 people on vent and organising them i remember it to be a pain in the butt but also incredibly fun whenever we pulled it off such great memories.
My favorite wow memory was when I topped the killing blow charts as a holy pally. In a EoTS bg I ran around with a small group of ppl and healed them. Every time I saw an enemy at low health I would throw my hammer of wrath at them and a majority of the time I stole the killing blow. I had no deaths in the match and came up 2 shy of getting wrecking ball. . .I know that I did not do the majority of the killing but I can't ever let the group of friends I was with live that down >:D Holy pally pvp ftw!
My happiest moment i would say in World of Warcraft (to my recent memory atleast) was actually a few days ago, when i killed Nefarian 10 man atlast after 2 weeks of grinding. (Not great progress like other so called pro guilds. Frostyspeed - Terokkar EU). Was quite fun because the boss was at 15%, our add tank died, our druid healer went to bear form picked up the adds, then at 8% the boss tank died, 7% the add tank died, then it was 2 healers and 5 dps, we all nuked it down dps dieing out 1 by 1. Me and Salgado (our huntard) were left and the boss had 200k. spamming arcane blast got him to 60k; and then, salgado the epic, misdirected Nefarian onto his pet, and shot the boss to hell and killed him. Was very exhilarating and fun. Probably wont win the mount or anything but its a nice memory to share with the rest of the competitors. Thanks for listening! :)
