My favorite moment actually was just near the end of Cata when my guild was running Kara, we had finally downed prince it was great and the whole guild was doin well. For me it was my favorite because not a long time after there was a huge split and things have taken a long time to recover in a was that makes me feel like that again. Wow for me is all about makin friends and having a good time.

My favorite memory would be back in the third week of the ulduar patch. We had just downed XT and was super excited to continue to the next level of the dungeon. So we clear the trash and walk up the stairs, and all of a sudden a HUGE half body pops up and kills us all. This ofcourse being Kologarn. My friends and I still memorize this as was it yesterday, and we always joke about it when we get surprised with new encounters. In some way we can almost relate every ingame encounter with kologarn. Yes, we are lame. Dearest Regards,Lukas.
I will have to say my favorite memory is when my husband and I were at the lifts and as a pally I bubbled and jumped, I told him dont worry jump I will bubble you, however I got distracted and so he went splat on the ground, to this day that is a running joke. "Don't worry just jump.... SPLAT!"
My favorite memory is a toss up. I was on Cho'gall during the AQ gate opening. Pillars and death and raiding parties of fellow horde members scattered every zone. Random elites filled the normally empty space of The Barrens and rampaging enemies surged in from all sides to kill unsuspecting players who didn't have the foresight to latch themselves onto a group. Anyone not in a party was pretty much slaughtered by high level elites hanging out by giant Qiraji pillars. My other memory is also from Classic Warcraft, my friend and I were LFG for UBRS. While we were waiting in Thorium Point the entire raiding party of V A N Q U I S H began to land to prep for Blackwing Lair. We ended up getting camped for almost two hours. The only thing that kept this from being a wholly unpleasant experience was the fact that the raid members were dueling to kill time. After one of them lost the duel my warlock friend and I (being a priest myself) would respawn and murder the loser of the duel.Runner up memories include, but are not limited to:Ganking in Southshore/StonetalonOriginal Naxx world eventThe twelve hour AVShade of Aran with Aetiesh in raid (Where did you get that? Did HE send you?)Forging a Thunderfury1% Ragnaros wipe and the resulting Vent rage.
When I was very new to the game, my friend took me to ZF but on the way said I should click on a fire. It flagged me PVP for the first time. We still laugh about my "what do I do" moment.
the first time I zoned into a 5 man instance (deadmines). that's when I knew this game was good. 5 mans/raids still give me goose bumps.
when i saw a horde in storwind i was very afraid cause it was the first time when i saw a horde. then he just cheered to me and go away .now im 75 and i still got horde friends:)
What is your favorite memory from World of Warcraft and why?My favorite memory from World of Warcraft is the first time I did the DeadMines. The instance was so epic for a group of low levels.
Well I remember the first time I played WoW was the start of TBC, I wanted a warrior ( had no idea warriors was 1 of the hardest class to play as a 1st timer, I got my Berseker stance at lvl 50 when most warriors get it at lvl 30 . ) Well, I remember having no idea on what professions to get ...So I became a Skinner and Leatherworking, since as a Tauren you could get those right ahead... Sorry to talk to much, heres my memory... I was LW lvl 310, and Skinning lvl 325 at lvl 58 and I was walking in Oggrimar and out of the nowhere I see this amazing geared up warrior, he had the Stormherald... and I asked: "Hey where does that amazing Mace drops?" and he said: " You built one... you have to be a Blacksmith and a miner to do it"...... 10 secs later I was a the class trainer deleting my over lvl 300 professions and learning Blacksmith and Minning,... :P And another amazing memory I have is being lvl 20 and all my talents where a complete mess... No idea on how to use them, and every new talent point i received, made me more confuse... at the end i was lvl 70 and my built was 20/19/22 or something like that... I spent over 200 gold building new talents trees, but then I finally asked my guild and after a great laugh they helped me out... I remeber what my guildmaster said to me that day... " If u havent ever mess your talents points, and spent considerable amounts of gold trying to get a nice built.. then you have never played WoW"
Most of my fondest memories of this game trace back to the guild I raided with for tiers 5, 6, and early 7. The disbanding of that guild easily ranks among my LEAST favorite memories of the game. My favorite, however, would probably have to be the first time we hit Illidan together. Some time ago, Wowhead had a contest asking about our most epic piece of loot. My entry for that, my t6 pants, sets the stage for this story. We had been bashing our heads against the Illidari Council for some time because the tank we had on Veras Darkshadow just couldn't keep him under control. His programming, as a rogue, strongly resembled the real deal; he'd Vanish, run off, annoy the other tanks, and then rampage around trashing our healers and the occasional mage (typically the one who was tanking, of course). As the newest tank of the lot, having recently switched from my warlock to my prot paladin, I was assigned to tank Gathios the Shatterer, on the assumption that he was the easiest boss to get in hand. A little craziness and double-duty pulling later (I still found myself scooping the rogue off of our healers quite often because the tank assigned to him wasn't moving fast enough), we managed to wipe out the council. I miraculously landed my t6 pants token against all odds, namely 5 priest healers, 2 locks, and our paladin officer.Up the ramp we went with Akama, lights, lasers, and exploding doors ensued. Raid lead began explaining the overview of the fight. When he concluded, I asked which tank would be picking up Illidan. He paused, and deferred to our main tank to make the call. MT said, simply, "You are, Zen." Still standing there in my Wrynn Dynasty Greaves because I had not yet been able to redeem my t6 token, I gawked at his answer, but took my place by the twisted Night Elf demon anyway, as our main healer skipped off to talk to Akama and begin the fight. The flame tanks sets us on fire a couple of times, and there was this one rogue that kept dying to Illidan's Flame Crash, but since it was JUST him, it's hard to say if that was because of my positioning or his. From that fight on, I was treated like a real tank, rather than just the add tank that always had to get the easy roles. Nothing proves that you can step up and do it right quite like suddenly finding yourself the MT.
My best moment since I play WoW, was when my guild server-first-killed Illidan. One of my best friends was visiting me right now (he was also in my guild) and we raided together. My guild tried Illidan a lot of weeks, but this one day after a 5 hour session, we did it and we were just flipping out in TeamSpeak. My mate and me we did a so hard high-five it just hurts by remembering, but it was just fabulous, i stood up and danced ^^. It was really a great moment and to share it with my friend that lives 500 miles away was even better also because he doesn't live anymore.
My favorite memory in world of warcraft would have to be when we were planning on the boss in ICC Blood Prince Council. we had to have someone to deal with the shadow orbs balls things. and we picked a guy in the guild named elboyoloco to do it, because he had experience with handeling with mutible balls.
even tho might be a bit erm, corny? lol, i would say that my most memorable memory of wow has been and probably still is, the reunion with friends.I took a vacation from wow, and that time when i went away, my guild mostly died, either because i left or not, people starting drifting apart, and when I came back, randomly started meeting those friends i once had, and in the end, there was a group of about 30 players, all friends, having fun in some part of elwyn forest, talking and laughing, and we decided to go back to our old guild and reform our guild into what it is today, a place where you know you can return to, have fun and have friends, some of which you maybe havent even seen their faces, but they are still there, open and ready to listen to your problems, or to play, or to simply idle in some place of the world.cheers!
