My favorite memory of WoW was definatly when i went to Tarren Mill on my first toon back in BC days. I was eatten by a feral druid :3
My favorite memory would be back in bc, when we killed Lady Vashj the first time. It took us more than 4 weeks to kill her and there was nothing compareable to the nerdrage in our teamspeak. ;)
My favourite memory of World of Warcraft would have to be the time we had our first kill of Kael'thas in Tempest Keep, back in TBC. That guy was Epic with a capital E!
When I got my first toon to 85 :)
The most exciting (and magic) moment in WoW I experienced was back then, when I started as a little nightelf-priest on top of Teldrassil. I was amazed by my surroundings and the feeling of being a part of Warcraft. I lost that feeling after a while, but I still get shivers when I randomly visit the starting area, even though it's not the prettiest or the one with the best quests etc.. Another wonderful moment was when we managed to kill all keepers of Ulduar and entered the corridor before Vezax. I'm not sure why exactly this moment - and not for example when we killed Yogg and Algalon - left such an impression on me, but standing in front of Vezax room, with all the broken glass floating in the air and the music playing in the backround, I got shivers all over my body and tears in my eyes.

One of my favorite memories was leveling in Kharanos and having to kill Old Icebeard, but since I was a n00b I couldn't kill him. So my friend shows up and heals me until I killed the thing. Until Cata, I still would run out there and gank that thing, just because.
I'd have to say my favorite memory was the corrupted blood outbreak after the release of ZG. Watching Ironforge turn into a ghosttown while the plague just swept through killing everybody was unforgettable. The city was littered with hundreds of corpses and GMs even intervened tryng to quarantine the spread. It was just kind of a completely unexpected moment of absolute chaos; it was quite memorable.
my favorite is the first time i ran scarlet monastery, as alliance. we ran for about 30 minutes to get there and it was really fun, because we chatted and stuff on the way, I kinda miss the time when you had to run to the dungeon to do it
My favorite memory is when blizzard teamed up with battle.net. Because we could talk to our friends not just that are on world of warcraft but on other games to. thank you blizzard for making this game. also for making it online love this game. long live blizzard entertainment and long live wow head. hope there is allot more expansions to come. :)
Ow, that's a tough one.. Been playing since late Vanilla so I have a lot of good and bad memories in WoW.The first time I played would be an obvious answer because since WoW was my first MMORPG game I felt a feeling I have never before or never since felt in a game.Taking the first steps as an Night elf Warrior in a beautiful, mysterious world with a lot of cool features has never felt that awesome. I remember every minute of my first 6 levels in the starting area to this day, my first quest, my first kill, my first contact with other players. But the thing I remember the most and what always make me laugh is when I was trying to get to the second area. Took me 20 minutes to get out of the first area, I just walked around that tree looking for the road, found the road and then I just went off track again because I saw something I could kill. Eventually another Night elf showed me the way out. Can't believe I was such a noob back then, but I don't regret a thing because it was such an awesome experience when you think about it 5-6 years later. Even tough that very character still is my main and I have been trough a lot of great adventures as him with a lot of great people i've met over the years, that memory, is my favorite out of them all.Altough the other races and starting areas are equally cool, none of them will ever make me feel the same way that I feel when I think about good ol' Shadowglen and Teldrassil makes me feel...
My favorite memory is when I first started playing, back during Vanilla WoW. I made a Night Elf Rogue as my first character and thought that making it to level 5 was awesome and I was invincible. So I left Shadowglen to try and find the next town to get more quests. Right after leaving. I realized I had no clue where I was. I kept running and eventually found a lot of level 8 spiders who killed me a lot lol, eventually after running for what seemed to be forever. In the black forest of death and spiders I found Dolanaar and continued my journey. Wow was it a rough journey back then.
Opening of AQ Gates and ZG PLAGUE
I just want to thank all the people who input information for players like me who are time strapped. WoWhead is a Jewel for me and I apprieciate their efforts. Jimfer
I'd say my best memory was from the end of the beta when the whole world came crashing down. Standing there, seeing all the infernals slaying everone and everything in sight was an immersive experienced which suggested that this game was to be something extraordinary.
