My favorite memory in World of Warcraft was when i left the guild Demented on my Death Knight tank. while it may not sound like a good memory, that is because afterwards, i joined a guild that, while i had known about them, i didnt know anyone within it. i stepped in as the new MT for their 25m ICC group. i immediately felt at home, mostly because of the GMs eccentric attitudes, or how everyone was so friendly and was there to have fun, and didnt make a job of it. in other words, i came home.
My favorite memory of WoW would be when i first started playing. I actually started a trial account because my brother was doing a trial too, so i thought, "why not?" Then I was quickly addicted to my Human Paladin and Undead Warlock. The next day i was actually extremely sick and stayed out of school, every muscle in my body ached and i was extremely light headed but i found myself playing WoW xD, I guess it took my mind off of things. I always liked the community on WoW, I've met some of my closest friends on WoW and I've got some of my friends from real life to play with me. As nerdy as it sounds, I found my home away from home in WoW. This is my favorite memory because whenever i actually look back on it, it always makes me feel good and that makes it a part of me forever. Even if Cataclysm is no Burning Crusade. :) But don't worry, I still love you Cata!

Playing on a role playing server, my friends and I get into a wider variety of trouble. From nearly getting smashed by a all troll [and mostly (Boss) characters) guild on worgen, to jousting in Icecrown- from long, exploratory 'treasure hunts' in low level dungeons to a week long, team effort hunt in Sholazar for Loque'nahk. However, I would have to say my favorite memory is the time I scared a Paladin. On a hunter of all things. My troll hunter was standing outside of the old Zul'Aman, waiting for my group to go rp clothes farming. He was in his rp gear- green armor similar to the Cat Handlers in ZA along with the hood looted from Zul'Jin and the black bear shoulders. Out of the instance, a level 75 human Paladin saunters out and gives my low health one glance. He hits me with a 'GenericPaladin challenges you to a duel'. I accept.Duel starting in 3...2...I slap on full Bloodthirsty Gladiator gear. Enchanted pike and bow loaded with a Gnomish scope.1...The paladin /no's me and flees like the sights of Deathwing was on him. I laughed so hard, I fell out of my chair. Dem 'untahs, mon. Sometimes, dey be mah deadleh den dey loo' eh? Hehehehehe...
My favorite moment from wow would be being able to explore all of world of warcraft by ground mount, as painful as it might sound before being able to have a lot of flying points, it was really fun exploring and dying as a level 48 :p. it was really cool exploring new lands and learning more about world of warcraft
I clearly remeber the first month i played wow ! I startet as a Orc warrior. I logged in and there it was. The most amazin sound! The sound of Birds, wind and such .. I remember how I loved the sound in world of warcraft, and how i cuddent get enought of it. After playing wow for some years, its just like the sound disapeared. I miss that sound, and i hope i will learn someday to remember how good it actually was .. Also i remember my first epic lvl 80 item ! I've been camping for like 2 month to gear up to enter a icc 25 raid, and then i won my first Deathbringers will! I guess i wont forget that day anytime !:)Good luck with the contest guys btw!;) HF and keep up the good gaming!:D
One of my favorite memories is when I first saw this very simple black backgrounded website search engine.Up to this point in time, I was having to suffer at the hands of alakhazam and the 'other' ZAM search engine, but up came a little known website called wowhead. It had what I wanted, what I needed, and was very clean. I haven't gone back to others, its the only wowsite I have prominently on my browser bar.WoW changed dramatically for me after that.
It was a short time into Vanilla, and our small guild of RL friends jumped at the newest instance -- Maraudon. We made our separate ways to Desolace, got the relevant quest lines, and rode in.Even though we were tired from work, it was uncharacteristically organized behavior on our parts, and we got to the instance portal without too much trouble. We came to the first cavern, with teh spiraling path running around into the open circular room full of imps. "Hey," one of our mages said. "We'd move a lot faster if we dropped down right here." He indicated a spot between mob clusters. We dropped down one at a time -- mage, druid, warrior, mage... hunter. We moved as a group to the room exit... and the dim lightbulb fully lit over my head. Slowly."Throm!" I typed fast as I could. "Your pet!"I pivoted slowly, tired and with one beer in my system. Throm's cat was hurrying to join us, along with every imp and satyr in the cavern and on the ramp.Never laughed so hard during a corpse run again.
My favorite moment was about 6 months ago, when my brother and I were playing at the same time, and we realized that i was a better player than he was. he had been rubbing it in my face that being a girl, i wouldn't be better than him, since he's awesome at video games. He was completely speechless! It was PRICELESS! now every chance i get, i rub it in his face that his sister is better at a video game than him. Revenge is sweet! :oD
Definitely when I got Grand Marshal. I quit at 50% through Rank 13 the first time, 6 months prior. So when I finally hit Rank 14 it was just indescribable. It was incredibly gratifying because I had achieved this solo, with a full time job, whereas many players grouped up constantly, ran organized groups, and shared accounts.
My favorite memory of World of Warcraft probably has to be a dead give away when, I first met my girlfriend on it. Man we spent so much time together, we did a lot of fun and interactive things. Played checkers and chess and what not. All starting out in WoW. Things went great back then, and it all started with a message of "Hello may, I get promoted?" Those good old times. What a delightful memory.
my favorite moment in WOW was when I did get my favorite and beautiful SPRITE DARTING HATCHLINGI loved the quest chain and loved being surrounded by all the sprite darting hatchlings. It was great to free them all :)This one was the first pet reward quest chain I did and it felt sooo good to get the little one. What a great reward :)It was so wonderful to get this little beautiful friend and have him forever as my pet :))Yindee
I started playing WoW in the last few months of BC, completely clueless as to what I was doing, but my girlfriend was there every step of the way healing my little warrior when I aggro'd too many mobs. At the time, I didn't even realize there was an expansion coming out, no clue what the Lich King was, Death Knights or anything regarding it.Wrath released and I found the class I wanted to play, that fit my style, my personality, like two pieces of a puzzle. I fell in love with the Death Knights. With my new toon in place, I relearned how to play WoW. The game changed entirely for me!I hit 80 and I geared myself up to raid with my new guild. This lead to one of my absolute favorite moments in the game, over top a few others. We were up against Heigan the Unclean and the dreaded dance! We were doing fine against him till we started getting multiple dc's, all at the wrong time when we were all jumping back and forth dancing our way through that phase. Healers, dps, all dropping like flies. All that was left was the tank, an extremely laggy healer, and me in my heroic dungeon gear. The lag killed off the healer and it was just a matter of time before Heigan killed the tank after coming out of dance phase. He had 4% health left, so I popped out army, popped out my extra ghoul, tried to spam Howling Blast as best I could. The boss comes downs and beats out the tank. All that's left is me and my army of ghouls, switched presences, Death Striked to get health back and ran around the room kiting him. Killed him with 100 HP left and 24 dead raiders. I was amazed.
the Guild and I killing The Curator for the 1st time, we all screamed over vent so loud, i'm sure we all have some percent of hearing loss now. But by far that's one of the most exciting moments of the game, I thought to myself this is what the game is about, sharing this excitement with friends.
I have so many fond memories from Vanilla WoW way back in the day that it's difficult to choose just one! But if I had to choose one, I would say that my favorite memory from WoW was witnessing Ragnaros emerge from the lava and then listening to his dialogue. Since Molten Core was the first raid that I had ever done, it felt like such an accomplishment once my guild had finally reached him after weeks of failed attempts.I still remember how excited the whole guild was, and those guildies who were not in the raid immediately hopped on vent as soon as the news spread that we had reached Ragnaros. It took us a while to get everyone into the correct position and for our guild members to discuss the fight, but eventually we were ready to go! The best part came when the main tank spoke to Majordomo Executus to begin the fight. It was so intense listening to the epic dialogue that Ragnaros gave, especially when he yelled "You have failed me Executus!" and then one-shot his servant! And I'll never forget that loud DING as the CT Raid addon kicked in once the actual fight began, and listening to our guild leader encouraging us to DPS the heck out of him. After two failed attempts, we finally manged to just barely down him on our third try; we got him down to about 2% or so, but since the majority of our raid was dead it appeared as though our third attempt was going to be a wipe. At this point people on vent were yelling that we were so close to killing him, but then to all of our surprise Ragnaros died! The excitement and yelling on vent that followed still hurts my ear just thinking about it! It turned out that one of our druid healers started to spam moonfire in a last ditch effort, and that turned out to be the killing blow! And to top it all off, I manged to receive the Choker of the Fire Lord neck piece once loot was distributed. That night was undoubtedly the most memorable experience in my history of playing WoW.
