This is atrocious. If I hadn't signed that year contract thing the other day I'd cancel my account right now after seeing this. As so many have pointed out already this talent system is beyond horrible. It needs to be more often and more diverse, not barely meaningful. When I started playing you got talent points every level after 10 and there was a wide selection that had a big impact on how you played. When Cata came around I wasn't thrilled at how much it got cut down but it was still kind of diverse. You still had a bit of wiggle room in how you wanted to build. Not much if you wanna be good, but some. And now...one of three choices every 15 levels? Bite me. In Blizz's quest to make WoW more accessible to the casual player they're destroying the game.
I just hope the Thunder Clap applying Rend now will be built in, or spec specific for Prot Warriors. :/

This looks terrible, Blizzard. Just leave talents alone and focus on more important things. The way these talent trees are looking now it appears that we will lose tons of abilities that would probably be more useful than some of the useless things that are here now.
absolute rubbish.Anything will be better than this steaming heap of supposed 're-imagined' content.Free to play Korean MMO's look less convoluted and appealing than what this mess is going to bring about.
Well I am a bit worried over the whole talent tree change. If we have so much less talents don't think that diversity is really going to be encouraged, and there are always theory crafters that are probably analyzing the talents right now. As a shaman I don't feel happy at all about the talents. Utility. The only thing that is not utility is instant cast or multiple casts (75 row). That makes me sad. Every other class has attacks on their talents, shamans have utility, actually no, shamans have totems that have utility... No cool moves, drop a totem that's all. Earth claw totem seems to be there again, with the same old problem, again, the shield absorbs a fixed amount, I hope they change that (a percentage will scale much better, so it can be useful at higher lvls). In a not really unrelated topic, the talent calculator description for ancestral guidance is missing the cool down (which can be found on the main post). The Pandaren well... It's not April is it? I suppose they are serious with them so let's wait and see. The monk class I have mixed feelings. First of all rogues out there, go @#$% yourselves, sorry, you are the only leather pure dps and now you have to compete on rolls to two classes that uses your items for tanking and dpsing and that can also switch to healers if the raid needs them. Monk is eating rogues. And enhancement shamans? I said earlier that we don't get anything cool, blizzard is $%^&*ing about how hard is to make an enhancement shaman switch to resto or elemental, the gameplay is really different. Enhancement shamans have been saying that they wanted to tank since TBC so now... We have monks: melee, fist weapons, agility kind of guy that uses spirit power and can tank and heal... You wanted to do that enhancement shaman? Sorry pal, go &*!@ yourself with your utility totems, don't reroll elemental turn into a monk.Don't get me wrong I like the concept BUT it's eating rogues and enhancement shamans.
Am I the only one who's commenting on the comic?Tauren in short-shorts <3
Well I'm pretty neutral on the general subject matter of MoP, I'll pass judgement on the story/pandas when we know more conclusively or I can play it myself. But the new talent system looks positively awful. I like the sounds of some of the spells, but really? 6 points is all you get? the hell? The original concept of 3 trees, later streamlined nicely in Cata still works fine. Just add another tier of spells or simply let us spend a few more points deeper into what we already have.I get the feeling that this rather sweeping (and it feels really unnecessary and over simplified) change to talents is going to be a major turn off to seasoned players who're used to the longstanding 3 spec system.
From what i understand you still pick your specialization at level 10, and each specialization has its own set of trained spells. Again these spells auto-train as you level so you dont need to visit a class trainer. For example, for priests at level 10, you pick shadow, immediately recieve some shadow features that are akin to the original shadow tree specialization bonuses, then when you come of level you automatically get shadowform. So dont look at the new trees as ALL OF IT, there will be a lot of stuff from the original talents that im betting will just be given to you as your level in your specialization.
Updated models :3I hope they finally give Bloodelf females Sylvanas'/Alexstraza's body :3OMNOMNOMNOM
Well... The ruined the talent system again. Some good stuff in there but as far as I see it's going to be another useless addition to what was already a half-way decent system, bring back the Wrath and prior talent system with some streamlining. And I see paladins are still crap.
All 12 year olds and above should quit this game now.
Not liking this new talent calculator. Do we really need this change?
Holy @#$%, CORPSE EXPLOSION IS BACK! Hallelujah!
