Children's Week is the best. I'm a pet collector and making kids watch a blood shedding battle in the bg for an achievement is kinda funny to me.
Winter Veil because..well, you know, it's X-mas. Too bad there's no snow in WoW, would be a nice change to see white roofs in Orgrimmar once a year.

Winter Veil, because everyone LOVES getting presents! And the pets are cool too, the Jingling Bell, Snowman Kit, and the Red and Green Helper Boxes. I hope every year when I open presents on my toons that one of them gets the Schematic: Snowmaster 9000 for my Engineer. Maybe THIS year I'll get it! =DHere's to a very Merry Winter Veil!
I like Hallow's End best because I loved trick-or-treating as a kid and I just get odd looks if I do it these days. So I go to Azeroth. :)
Children's week would have to be my favorite, starting with the fact that its built around us helping the children of azeroth that don't have as much as we do, second it has a wide variety of pets, and even though you can only choose one from each quest line, (3 total), its fun, and the pets are adorable especially Speedy :D.
I'd say that all the world events are fun in their own way, and having done all of them for the meta achievement and drake reward, they are also incredibly annoying. Once that was done though, I've come to appreciate them a bit more. My favourite would probably be Day of the Dead, with Pirates Day taking a close second. Why these two? Well, having done all the events, these ones were the least stressful and therefore most fun. Not a lot to do, just dress up as a skeleton or a pirate and relax. Plus I'm looking forward to the Day of the Dead this year, I can finally get the last recipe I need for Iron Chef.
My favourite is Noblegarden. Fun and silly at the same time. The bunny ears have me ROFL.
Brewfest has and will always be my favorite, I personally love teleportation items and the Direbrew Remote is fun! Not only that but It reminds me of Chen Stormstout from Warcraft 3. Man do I love his level 6 ability, that turns him into 3 different units! Also I am especially lookin forward to Mists of Pandaria. Hopefully they'll add in some special brewfest things for them when it comes out. Not only that, maybe we'll meet Chen ourselves! Brewmaster Monk FTW!
My favorite holiday is the new Hallow's End. There are many ways to participate. Either flying out to all the buckets, doing dailies and quests, or fighting the 5-man boss. It also has lots of pets and toys and fun loot and they all feel within reach, if you want them. And there's just something fun about trick or treating, getting candy, and seeing everyone in costumes.
Hallow's End because I love the Headless Horse's voice and his ability to speak in rhyme and still sound awesome. Also... CANDY!
My favorite WoW holiday is definitely Brewfest. For one, the chances to get mounts. I LOVE mounts, and spend too much time getting them, though I lack Brewfest mounts. But what really does it for me is the atmosphere. Sausages, cheeses, pretzels, and beer... well, I don't drink beer, but every day I log on during Brewfest I get a massive craving for those foods. The music is catchy, it feels like a party, and it makes me hungry. What more could anyone want? Also, when I was under maximum level last year, I made a few friends in trying to get to Direbrew. It took a long while and we never figured it out, since I couldn't queue in the dungeon finder, but it was pretty awesome to hang out with those guys. Those drunk goggles need to be a permanent item. My character's a regular drunk anyway.
My favorite holiday would have to be El Día de los Muertos (Day of the dead). The reason I love it may cause someone to seek out the real meaning of this holiday. If even just one person would look at my ancestor's ways of persevering the memories of loved ones, and it causes them to reflect on how truly gifted we are due to the sacrifices these people have made for us. So as you play WoW on this day and you have your pet Calavera following you around, remember to be in glee for those who are no longer with you.
Hallow's End for sure, if only because of GNERD rage.
My favorite holiday of course is Hallow's End. You get a boss with some decent loot (always a must!), the Headless Horseman is cool (though I wish he'd get some new material after all these years), and to top it off you get all the wickerman stuff now, AND getting the masks is no longer impossible. What's not to love?
