Feast of Winter Veil. As a kid, winter was a huge deal in my family. My family has roots in Spain, so we celebrated both ways. As I grew older it seemed as if all tradition was lost. I guess it reminds me of that time.
My favorite holiday is a lesser liked holiday: Midsummer Festival. Why do I enjoy this festival so much? I'm not entirely sure. I do know that I get a lot of fun out of doing the torch throwing and torch catching quests and few things make me quite as happy as dousing the opposing faction's fire (in this case, horde). Everyone seems festive and happy and the boss doesn't feel like the center of the festival. My most fond holiday memories are from Midsummer. Dousing fires, achieving the Flame Warden on my fire mage, getting a lot of extra experience/gold from quests and dancing poles, seeing the whole world while fireworks fly about, it's all fun! Also one of my favorite flavor items comes from the Midsummer Festival, Brazier of Dancing Flames.
Favorite holiday is Brewfest - hand's down. I just loooooooooooooove having to farm Coren 42 times for the dodge trinket to drop -_-

i would have to say winter veil, just for the fact that even blizzard gives you presents form Christmas, and on top of that, you have to be a certain age to get them as well as waiting till Christmas morning. No sneaking around and rewraping gifts for you
My favourite event is the Lunar Festival. Taking place on the shores on beautifully tranquil lake of Moonglade, t's a time to reflect on our past, our history. What did our anscestors do for us? Would our current behavious shame them? It's a time to celebrate our current life as well. There are dazzling firework displays, festive outfits in equally festive colours, and enough tasty dumplings to satisfy even the hungriest tauren! The mood of the holiday balancing perfectly between calm and serene to jovial and excited offers something for everyone.
Well I'm a French-Canadian and like many of my fellow frenchies, I'm a big fan of microbrewed beers! So I have to admit that my favorite holiday is NOT brewfest...a beer drank by 11 millions subscribers and their numerous alts does not count as microbrewed! My favorite holiday would be Children's week because as a high-school teacher, taking care of kids in need is something I love to do! Plus, I get to take them im field trips around the world and teach them a bunch of important lessons! So, yeah, my teacher's heart gets a say in this and his vote is the Children's Week holiday.
Hallow's End : HH poems always entertain me :P"It is over, your search is done. Let fate choose now, the righteous one."PS: Added a space after the "[s" because it would just do a strike :P
christmas is my favwhether you're riding into battle on a reindeer, sitting on a knee of a big green smelly orc dressed as santa, or even transforming yourself into a gnome just so you can run off a cliff, theres always something to keep ya busy on that holidayand besides hollows end just wont give me my mount! XP
I love Children's week. As an avid pet collector I just love the rewards from taking kids around the world.
Hallow's end for me, purely because of sentimental reasons. The hallowed was the first title I ever got and i have great memories of my friend trying to get into horseman runs while only being level 60 because he didnt have TBC. I also fondly remember me being very deviate and trying to get multiple runs in a day so i could have better chances of getting the mount. I didn't get it that year =(
Throughout my time playing WoW, I've enjoyed all of the holidays, even getting my . I know the allure of Midsummer, and I know the drunken antics (and glitchy invisibility) of Brewfest...but I'd honestly have to say I really enjoyed the Lunar Festival the most.Weird, I know, but it's the one that really was memorable while I was leveling up because of how much it was based around working together to get that damn demon back into the lake. Granted, it's not like it was back then, but it really was and is my fondest holiday memory.
I like Brewfest, its me all over in rl..Love a beer especially while raiding..Not many females into Tennants but i am one of the few :)
