My favorite Holiday in World of Warcraft would be Hallows End. To me the chance to fight The Headless Horseman and the choice words that the Horseman uses are great. The rhyming for a Halloween event is good, and 2 items you get, a rogue sword and a plate helm, are good peices of someones arsenal to have.
Brewfest for me by far. I enjoy the different games and quests. The mount was really cool as well as the different mugs I have collected over the years.
Winter Veil. Not only in real life, I like the presents, saving metzen every year, and I love all of the gadgets. I saved all of my gadgets, such as:
Hallow's End is my favorite WoW World Event. Probably because Halloween is my favorite event in real life. I enjoy the trick or treat acheivements for the regions and getting "tricked" into various forms. The achievement to collect the masks is challenging and I have been trying to the last few years to get them all on even one of my toons and I have yet to acheive this. The achievment with the wands is a fun one. Turning your friends into wisps, bats, skelletons, etc. is great fun. But my favorite part of this World Event is the pumpkin head acheievement where you get pumpkins and throw them at various horde and alliances classes. It is a challenge to get the other side (for me I play alliance so the horde side is the other side), but not so hard that it can't be achieved with a bit of effort and knowing where to scout them out.
As much as I would love to say Hallow's eve, I think I have to go with Brewfest =) It is fun to fight the Dark Iron, and it is easier to get the achievements than Hallow's eve that requires world travel. Brewfest only needs you to goto Ironforge or Orgimmar. Now if only you could get the titles without being max level =/
Childrens Week is my favourite, definatly. All those pets available, and the warm feeling in your heart after you help all those lil orphans. Heart warming an beneficial, thats my kinda holiday!
My favorite holiday in World of Warcraft is Hallow's End. The very spirit of make-believe, dressing up and role-play is in keeping with the reason why I play WoW. It also seems to be the one with the most in-game fun both in terms of quests, the Headless Horseman encounter and costume wands, candy buckets and surprising tricks! Running around in a raid and throwing a jack-o-lantern on someone or zapping them into a leper gnome is endless fun. So much fun that I often save wands and jack-o-lanterns to continue to use throughout the year! So while Winter Veil may be "prettier", Hallow's end definitely offers the most fun and keeps me as a subscriber long after I've finished (or given up) on other content.
Love is in the Air. Why is that my favorite holiday? Well I suppose when i say this i mean the old version, where you had to give npcs valentine cards in hopes of receiving the correct items you needed to complete a collection of cards to later turn in for prizes. I liked the chance of getting a broken heart and needing a friend to come mend it so you could continue on romancin'. :P
I think Winter Viel is my favorite. The first time a I saw an Orc as Great Father Winter, blizzard got me entirely. In addition, saving Metzen the Reindeer.... was a lot of fun.
I actually like Hallow's End the most: all the wands and masks make for a more interactive community in my opinion.
My favorite holiday is the Feast of Winter Veil, just because I've always loved Christmas time.
all time favourite has to be noble gardens, the seasons are warming up and we get a fun and colourful festival to hang out in. plus we get to turn people into rabbits.
I actually prefer Noblegarden, mostly because even after having done the event for the achievements, it's still just as fun and as cool as before. I love turning into the little rabbits and competing for the hidden eggs in Goldshire or Azure Watch, though there are times where frustration can leak through. Most of all, I love the fact that you can put rabbit ears on people, which people seem to let stay on for longer than a pumpkin head. As an herbalist as well, being able to plant flowers on the map using the spring robes is definitely one of the fun little things I like to do during the holiday if I'm waiting for a dungeon or a battlegrounds. Sure, there isn't a holiday boss, but that keeps the focus more on the fun of the world event and not on getting easy holiday gear. Can't wait for next year though, since they're releasing spring circlets with different colors!
Mine is for sure the winter veil, no doubt it's just such a cozy holiday with your family IRL aswell, the snow and everything =>
