Children's Week has to be my favorite, partly because of the fun pets and partly because I have fond memories of my guild doing Molten Core and pulling out 40 orphans before we charged into battle.
What is your favorite holiday in World of Warcraft and why? I would have to say Lunar Festival. It was the first holiday that I can recall doing and the first title that I recived was Elder. It was so cool to see other players out in the world exploring and trying to find the elders. The batle for Elune's Blessing, Festival Firecrackers, and the Lunar Festival Finery make this the best Holiday in game :)

Honestly, the Lunar Festival. Here's the thing, the Lunar festival is truly all about respect for those long gone. With the Lunar Festival, we travel across Azeroth, meeting those who have come before us, and honouring their lives and their memory. It's a lesson that many people in real life could use, and sadly few do. If people respected those that came before, people would consider the grief and pain of loss, and it may prevent some of the unnecessary loss of life we have nowadays. To see a video game like World of Warcraft have a holiday based on respect for the dead, it's a very good thing. That lesson, this holiday, it touches me, and I thoroughly enjoy it every year.
I just love hallowen, mostly because we dont have this holiday in our country, i like the those rhimes he say when he approach and how people need to work together to stop the fires. :)but what i most liked back in TBC was even low levels could have fun with the mounts
My favorite holiday has to be Winter Veil, as it also is my favorite holiday in real life, i just love the feeling of warmth in such cold times, and it so happens that the first time i started playing was during Winter Veil, and in the beginning everyone was so kind and helpful and that just gave me a lovely first impression of World of Warcraft. And that experience has led me to look forward to Winter Veil every year. And seriously, who doesn't love presents?
Brewfest! I love the idea of starting a barfight to get some beer themed loot! The dwarves don't get boring year after year either. It's always fun when they attack from out of the ground and you have to defend by throwing mugs!
Winterveil because of the presents. B!@#$es love presents.
My Favourite Holiday would be Hallow's end. the first time i played the game i started near hallows end when the horseman used to fly around goldshire. the title for the achievement is awesome as well. the hallowed is my favourite title for a holiday as well. the entire holiday with the buckets and everything rocks. the horseman fight is awesome and the daily quests are so much fun plus the buckets for extra measure. definetly the best holiday in my opinion. my first wow holiday and definetly the one i loved the most. still dont have the mount though lol i tried so hard
Brewfest, haven't been playing wow long enough to see them all yet, but wands, masks, pets, and more make for some good holiday fun.
(Apologize if something similar has already been done, there are already 16 pages of comments and I didn't read them all...ahem! I love all the holidays, they've always added enormous flavor to the game and are a great way to pass the time, plus if you are diligent and do them all, you get a nice mount, free 310%, and enough vanity pets along the way to make even the most hardened heart squeal! My favorite holyday in World of Warcraft is of course Pirates' Day!Ever since I was a kid I've always loved the things about pirates, used to play pirates with my friends all the time when I was young, pretended that we were pirates while being in my lakehouse, swimming around and had my mother hide treasures for us to find with maps, talking like piratates. First it started off with simple board games wich I sadly cannot remember the names of those wonderful games, as time moved on I started to get more and more in to computers and found this amazing game called Redhooks Revenge, I think it was released back in '94 and it's a DOS game, yes you play it on your DOS config thing! Here's a link to this wonderful game: http://www.imagisoft.com/rdhook.htm truly a master piece!Even now my love of pirates is consistanly showing, I have several posters of different pirates characters on my wall, for example Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp), and who would'nt miss Captain Hook from the films of Peter Pan!Well, every year in WoW on September 19th there's Pirates' Day, becasuse in IRL it is the international talk like a Pirate day! On this day I dress up like a pirate and socialize with some other people who also likes the role playing in IRL.And in WoW, I've always had some characters on RP servers that I play on a lot, on Pirates' Day I always venture to Booty Bay to dress up like a Pirate (farmed some armor that looks like a Pirate!) and of course talk like a Pirate with everyone who wants! Some might think it's a bit strange, but hey! It's the international talk like a pirate day! so why not do it in WoW? It's on the calendar :DWhen I saw that Pirates' Day was introduced in WoW I was so damn happy! I think it was in 2007 or 2008, not really sure, but I sure was dancing around at home, I actully wondered when they were going to make an event like this, but even tho it's not the biggest holiday in wow, it's sure of the funniest! There's atleast 1 achivement for it ;-)I'm already longing for the next Pirates' Day, and who knows, maybe Mists of Pandaria has arrived then and perhaps brought some more achivements and fun in Pirates' Day, as it should be! More ppl should hail them PIRATES! :DBest Regards, Synrithh!
For me it's got to be Brewfest. I used to drink alot of alcoholic drinks, probably 3 beers on a daily basis. I wasn't proud of it, but I felt addicted somehow. However, 2 years ago that all changed. My birthday is about 2 days after Brewfest, so it's a pretty great 2 weeks for me: Enjoying this lovely world event and my birthday. With both those events on the calendar, there is bound to be beer. But on the night of my birthday I went too far. I fell unconcious, was brought to the hospital and was required to stay there for a week. It was a horrible experience for me, I was constantly throwing up, I lost a lot of weight and by the time I was out of the hospital, I had no energy and no strength. It made me realise that alcohol can break your body and mind. So after that, I pretty much quit drinking booze. But even after that, I still enjoy the Brewfest more than any other event, because it reminds me of how I was and how I am right now.
BREWFEST! The only place where you can find mighty paladins totally smashed jumping down from cliffs for some hilarious and funny achivement and where your eyes drive you crazy when you play with the game dancing in your monitor!YEYYYY
Mine has got to be Pilgrims Bounty, Whats more fun than hunting down turkeys?
My favorite WoW holiday is "Love is in the air'. It was then that I met my now husband in-game for the first time 4 years ago. We've been having romantic picnics since! Love really was in the air :)
I prefer Pilgrim's Bounty. While it doesn't have any major amazing items you can collect, the holiday is short, doesn't have any big overbearing thing you have to do every day, and is easy to complete on multiple characters despite its length. Plus, you can't say no to leveling cooking that cheap.
