Brewfest, for the beer and the funny games
Hands down it is Hallow's End for me. I absolutely love the holiday and the atmosphere that fills the game during the event, the dark and sinister air when the Horseman attacks a village and his madly entertaining cackling rhymes. Then there's the candy, the pets, the broom, the trick or treating, it's all just so much fun and by far one of the most involving holiday events in the game.I look forward to it every year.
For me it's Halloween. Pumpkins, pumpkins, pumpkins everywhere! Love it! It creates such a fun atmosphere and I love playing WoW even more than usual!
Winter Veil! Because I'm gonna get my Violet Proto-Drake during it <3
Brewfest. Getting drunk and then rideing around with friends whos drunk too.
Brewfest. Beer. Nuff said.
I think my overall favorite would be the Midsummer Festival. There are tons of locations to visit with fires, and there is an emphasis on a PvP style as well while you're desecrating enemy fires as well. It encourages players to become active in their cities and defend their fires as best they can while attempting to jump into enemy cities and take away their fires, and in return, they gained or lost a buff depending on their fire's activity. On top of that, there is an amazing experience buff to help with the leveling of alts, and quite a few fun items to play with as well. Nothing says party to your raid like bringing out your Brazier of Dancing Flames and having a little dance party while you're buffing or waiting for that one guy who couldn't hold it for five minutes to do a boss fight! For max level characters, there is also a good amount of gold to be earned. All the fires, honoring or desecrating, gave a good amount of gold; I used to do this on all my alts for a lot of essentially free gold that only required a little time investment. Another fun thing was bringing the buff foods to raid. There was nothing like edging out slightly on the damage meter at the end of a successful fight because you handled your business in a holiday to get outside buffs, and other people didn't. It really showed who worked to bring their A game to raids.
Obviously for me its Brewfest. Its just that time of year when classic stereotypes of dwarfs is really at its finest, and I just cant stop laughing. Either if its dropping of kegs or throwing mugs at the dark iron dwarfs.
I love Hallow's End, Halloween has always been my favorite holiday. Plus, I love the Headless Horseman fight.
Brewfest because it's a festive time of drinking and partying, with the occasional enemy intrusion only adding flavor to the mixture.I like the boss they introduced with it as well, and the Kodo mount for an alliance is just too good to pass up.
Well I'm going to have to go with Brewfest! Because let's face it, beer is great, in game or irl! But obviously, I have some great memories from this holiday, such as riding rams around Ironforge drunk, or beating back the thirsty tides of Dark Iron Dwarves as they try to steal my sweet golden nectar! And then the instance, getting nice loot and beating up Dark Iron dwarves... what could be better? And then at the end of a tiring day doing all that? Settling down for MORE beer! Brilliant! :)
Winter Veil by a mile. I just love how that part of the year just fills everyone with joy, people seem alot nicer around christmas.
