i love the Hallows end. first off if you need the achievment Hallowed Be Thy Name you gotta travel all around the world, that way you can be reminded of those good times in The burning crusade. :) second is that you can get these godly items Headless Horseman's Mount and The Horseman's Horrific Helmet ;Dthats about it i guess, hope ill win :>
My favourite holiday in wow is the Winter Veil. It boost my christmas spirit which is hard to come by as the years make me older :)
Got to be Pilgrim's Bounty... all that lovely food and the chance to level all my alts cooking skill! Plus being a mage I like portalling everyone round the cities for free too annoy the opportunists :D
Hallow's End - because Halloween is the best holiday at the best time of year and anyone who disagrees is not just wrong they are a candy hating !@#$%^ who hates happiness
Winter Veil would have to be my favorite holiday. I am very family orientaded and have always loved christmas and its good to see the holidays in the game as well. It gives the game that extra good feeling as you play holiday by holiday. Not only do you get gifts from blizzard which its great, but also in my guild which I am the GM of. My self and my officers like to practice christmas gift giving in are guild.
While I agree with some of the statements in regards to the Brewfest season - what can be better than an entire season devoted to the theme of beer drinking with friends and such awesome and engaging music? I'll tell you what; the Winter Veil! The Winter Veil season during the Christmas holidays are one of the premier events I look forward to throughout the year. Not only is the event itself very joyous, entertaining and engaging, but it is set during one of my absolute favorite times of the year; Christmas! I always find myself in such a good mood closing up to and throughout the Christmas holidays, and it brings me such joy when that very feeling is being reflected within one of the games I love! Some of this joy comes through the ability of becoming a gnome. There's just something about that race that I love so much; their tiny - but very characteristic - appearance, their love of tinkering and their awesome jokes. To me this race has got the best and funnies jokes of all the playable races. I used to play as an Alliance character, a Mage. Yes indeed, I was a gnome :) But after some extremely fun and entertaining years on the Alliance side my best mates decided to start playing on the Horde side instead. Obviously wanting to play with my very good friends, I too swapped over to the dark side. I still have my Alliance Gnome Mage, and I tend to him from time to time, but sadly that is all I ever get around of doing. The transformation machines located throughout the world gives me some glimpses of that great, great time I had back in my Alliance playing days. I get to become (at least a close resemblance) of my very first gnome <3 Oh the nostalgia! Moving back into the season itself; I have to admit Blizzard has done a great job at creating the feeling of Christmas when playing the game. The decorations, all the gnomes covered in Christmas suits running all over Azeroth and Outland, Great Father Winter handing out presents from under his Christmas tree. It all adds up to be one of the best times throughout the long year. This season also tends to do something about the mood of the players, they seem more friendly, more willing to engage in discussions / fun events. At least that's my view of it all, but that may simply be due to myself being in such a good mood already. ;)I'll leave you with this image (something I do EVERY year during Winter Veil): gathering up some mates - all wearing the gnome costume - running the Alterac Valley battleground whilst listening to Christmas music (all time favourite: Chris Rea - Driving Home From Christmas) Surely that just have to set you in a good mood! :DKrizilio, gnome in disguise.
Would be Hallows End.A few reasons.First off, the Headless Horseman is a fantastic boss, with funny loot, plus a mount. And the wise man said mounts are neat.Second, there is also dailies. Dailies are fun to do, especially the new bomb stormwind/undercity, plus it is fantastic for levelling. Then, there are the pumpkins in the inns. A good fun thing, especially for levelling. Its also some "extra" loot, and we love loot. Then we go over to the burning villages. It is a fun, unique, event, which requires teamwork. That is rare, reminds me of scenarios. Finally, we get to the new vendors. We can chose what we buy! Two pets, masks, buffs. Everything. Even a flying broom. And secretly, as I play on an rp realm, it is festive to go through the city, and see people actually bothered to make costumes, for their chars.
I cant just pick one, atm Blizzard is changing everything each year, so the events are getting more and more exciting. But still my faveorite is Thanksgiving, loads of fun qs, easy cooking skill. And for me this yr it'll be the last recipes in cooking I need to know them all. Also running around chasing turkeys for achievements is fun. We dont have Thanksgiving in my Country, so its nice to have it in game :D
Brewfest of course, not only that it reminds me of Octoberfest, but because Pandaren Brewmaster in warcraft III is n1 !
I just love brewfest because... ALCOHOL!
Hallow's End because its costumes can be so freaking awesome!
Winter Veil. Presents, santas and lots of good food which is usable even on higher levels. The first holiday I ever experienced on WoW, and it blew my mind. I got presents. I got awesome quests. I even got mistletoe. And then the very last and clearly favorite aspect of Winter Veil: Riding around on Metzen the Reindeer and then blitz in, throw a snowball before I mount up again in my Winter Veil attire yelling: HOHOHO! No presents for you this year either!
