Childrens Week! This is by far my favorite holiday. To be honest its just the most heartwarming. What more could a Heroic Dragonslaying, Ogre smashing, Legendary wielding, Defender of Azeroth do after saving the world hundreds of times? How about holding the small hand of a child pained by the suffering of a sundered world. You have a unique chance to show these victims what's left out there, and why we all fight so hard to stay the course and resist the call to evil. Filled with adventure, Conquest, and exploration on a scale that even seasoned adventurers would balk at, these children bravely inspire us... that's right. They inspire us to keep the good fight, and to never give up! For we don't fight for ourselves, we don't fight for Fortune and Glory, we fight For the Children. And the best part is, we are able to show not just one small child wonders beyond their imaginations, but children from Stormwind, Orgrimamr, Shattrath, and Dalaran!Childrens Week! definitely tops the list, after all; who could look into the eyes of the children and say otherwise?
My favorite holiday would have to be Midsummer Fire Festival. It was the first live event that I seriously tried to complete. The part I enjoyed the most was trying to steal the flames from the Alliance home cities as a level 74 Holy Priest when the cap was level 80. It was directly because of this event that I dual specced and learned how to be a Discipline Priest. This event also marked the time I got the Explorer achievement since I was going to every area anyways. In all, I would have to say this event really opened my eyes up to exploring all of Azeroth and Outlands and better learning how to play my squishy clothie class better.
Has to be Hallow's End. An awesome 'Badie' and an awesome mount to get my greedy hands onto! Not to mention I love running around eatin' all the candy :D
My favorite would definetely be Hallows End. Since there is a chance for a good looking mount, a funky broom(which sadly don't last forever) some good rings and then there is the wicked helmet and sword. Not to mention the great laughter of the horseman and the fun quests he gives us in goldshire and such.
Midsummer Fire Festival.Fun holiday boss, nice loot and of course the unique Brazier of Dancing Flames <3Not to mention that it is the best time of the year!
Personally, for me, Hallow's End is my favourite event. I remember doing all the achievements, and how close I came to get the 'Hallowed Be Thy Name' achievement. My guild helped me so much by letting me have the Sinister Squashling in the last run of the year, because it was the night of the last day on the event. WIth the helmet in my bag, all I needed was 'A Mask For All Occasions,' Because, back in 2007 / 2008 it was required for the achievement. Wherever i found a bucket, i 'trick or treated' it but, in the middle of night, I decided i'll just have to try again next year. The next I got such a shock when I logged in, and an achievement flashed on my screen, 'Hallowed Be They Name' and I honestly thought I was dreaming. But it then hit me, they removed 'A Mask for all Occasions,' Atleast for the achievement ;) - Hallow's End was the first event i got all achievements for and to me, it will always be the funnest event in all of Azeroth ;)
Hallow's End and the Lunar Festival tie for my favorite. The Lunar Festival is big with me, because it's a unique holiday where both factions can meet in peace. There are no questlines where you have to bomb so-and-so, or shoot them with a spitwad. You have to speak with the elders -- the ancestors -- and help honor age-old traditions. The robes and suits are gorgeous, and there's none other like them in game. The lanterns are definitely one of my favorites as well, and i'm SO looking forward to the new companion! On the other hand, Hallow's End is something i look forward to every year! I love watching people put together costumes out of everyday gear (not just using a wand) and the decorations are absolutely wicked. (pun completely intended.) The fact that it's all for the forsaken is just a plus. I've always loved Sylvanas, and the reason behind the holiday just fills my little lore-^&*!@ heart with glee.

Very tough but id have to go with Winter Veil. You can actually feel the spirit of the Christmas Season from the game.
Love is in the airThat is when I started to play this awesome game and I ran around doing those dailies on all my newbie toons haha.<3
I like the Hallow's End event, I like trying to get the mount and going around Azroth and getting all that candy!
