of course it is the brewfest, we get drunk, we dance in funny cloths, and there isn't a punk, like the horseman headless, yelling things every freakin minute! --'
My favorite holiday would defiantly have to be Hallow's End. So much candy, so much fun! :D
I would have to say the summer fire festival, or whatever it is called, I really like the buffs you get and running around starting fires :P .
My Favorite WoW holiday has to be 'Pilgrim's Bounty' its brings people together in and out of game. We as a gaming community rely on eachother during this global event to get our achievements done, do fun quests with eachother as well. Bouncing food at eachothers plates to hit the food off of the targeted person's head, shooting wild turkeys for good stuffs. Theres nothing better then Pilgrim's Bounty, nothing i tell you NOTHING!
Winter Veil has always been my favorite since you could go around shooting the leaders of the races with BB guns lol
WARNING: Sappy content.I like the Lunar Festival, because of it encourages one to acknowledge and respect our elders. (Here's where the sappy part comes in...)I come from a very scattered family where most of us don't talk to other members for various unhappy reasons. The only member of my family who was always around for me and who took amazing care of me was my French-Canadian maternal grandmother (aka G'ma). G'ma taught me family recipes that have been passed down almost since the New France era of Canada, traditional French songs and (if you gave her enough wine) could even be coaxed to dance. Sadly, I moved to the US and couldn't be close to her any more and what little family we had near her ignored her. I'd try to visit her as much as possible as she was unable to travel, but never seemed like enough. Whenever Lunar Festival came around, I'd make sure to see every single elder to pay my respects...G'ma always taught me to be polite and to always say hello. I'd often think of G'ma while I'd fly/ride around.G'ma died recently so next Lunar Festival will be particularly bittersweet as I think about her while I do my elder rounds. I love that something as commonplace as a video game provides me with a little touch of pathos; a touch of raw humanity in an otherwise anonymous, technological world.OK, I'm done with the sappy now. As you were.
I'd have to say Brewfest! Filling my bags with all kinds of beers, then heading over to Gallywix pleasure palace and getting drunk off my face with friends whilst playing mini-golf... there's no better way to spend a day!
Hallow's Eve by far! Sinister Squashling is the coolest pet ever!
Oh man, favorite? Choices, herm.. itd be between Winter Veil and Hallow's End... probably Winter Veil b/c it just gets me in the spirit for the real thing! I mean come on all the talk about cookies, Santa, snow ball fights, hot chocolate to warm up that cold tummy, the lights, the spirits and you know everyone loves the gift wrapped presents! It just brings a whole new meaning to my in game experience affecting my rl experience lol
