My favorite in game holiday is Winter Veil for sure. Call me cheesy but I get a warm fuzzy feeling every time it comes around because it reminds me of how much fun I had with my very first guild back in 2005 during the first Winter Veil I experienced. I remember how epic it was for us all and the fun times we all had just talking on vent and laughing while camping and waiting for The Abominable Greench to spawn. A lot of people in my guild had no families around to celebrate the holidays with so we all really bonded together and it was all during Winter Veil on WoW. So yeah that holiday always does make me feel happy when it comes around for reasons in game and out. I have many things to be thankful to WoW for and that's one of the biggest..

The Love FoolI have to say, my favorite holiday from the beginning has been Valentine's Day. In the old days of WoW we used to have to buddy up with someone when a rotten NPCs refused our ill begotten love token. Otherwise we would have to run around with a broken heart for an hour, drowning in our own sorrows. The recent years have shown a much kinder holiday, but the spirit is still the same. Perfumes, zebra print, and love tokens. Not to mention love affairs with the leaders of each city... Je t'adore!
When I started playing WoW, it was during Winter's Veil. I thought it was so cool, so I can't help of thinking back everytime the season comes back. :)
Brewfest, because I can never have enough beer.
I really do love Hallow's End as you are working hand in hand with random others to defeat an enemy and look good doing it (masks).
Brewfest has got to be my favourite WoW holiday... although pre Cataclysm Brewfest only ;p. I used to love spending an hour getting to BRD and then getting in a massive pvp war with the Alliance for 20 minutes before finally zoning in to kill Coren 5 times.. and of course there was always that one guy who decided it would be funny to pull the entire bar so it would have to be aoe downed. The ram racing is also fun as hell since you actually have to pay a tiny bit of attention to it if you want to maximize your loot for the day. Plus who the hell doesn't like to be drunk in-game while mounted?
I love the Hallow's End, Halloween has always been my favorite holiday. I loved dressing up and trick or treating and Now I love to dress up and hand out candy. One of the things that this event gives me on Wow is that feeling of getting something like candy from trick or treating as an adult.
Personally i love all the events (partly because i want that mount with a cherry on top!) but if i have to choose one i think it would be the lunar festival (To honor One's elders) because i love the events going on. What other seasonal brings together a bunch of people to kill a bag-ass boss like Omen, our favorite puppy? Thou the main thing that makes it take that special spot in my heart is that its the only event that doesnt really feel like it have any connection to the real life. It's a world of warcraft only! ( to me atleast) and thats what makes it so special. Also going to wowwiki and reading the lore about the characters spread out all over the world is a great way to both explore and getting a deeper feeling about whats going on in the world.
I LOVE HALLOWS END!I live in Australia and i don't get a real halloween, so hallows end is something to look forward to!I love killing the headless horseman and hearing him yell out his poems to everyone in elwynn forest, sometimes he even kills you by surprise!I love the awesome costumes given by the inkeepers and the wandsThe achievements are quite fun and pretty easy!Sticking pumpkins on people heads is good for a giggle :DThe loot that drops from the horseman is great for new 85s because its easy to get and looks cool!I love the mount (even though i havent got it yet)The broom is cool! also its an instant cast mount!LOTS OF TREATS TO MAKE YOU SICK AND GIVE YOU A SUGAR RUSH! woooooooooooo!Over all hallows end is the most fun holiday in wow for me!(second best is winter veil, infinite snowballs and flying reindeers!)
