Mooo, my friends, my most favorite holiday in WoW is of course Brewfest. I just love to watch drunk cows messing around, riding rams and eating sausages, throwing empty bottles all around the place..
Pilgrim's Bounty, because when I first saw the turkey pet "fulfill its destiny" it completely blew my mind.(The fire festival's gotta be my least favorite because I never managed to get either of the rare pets from it...)
My favorite holiday would have to be Love is in the Air. I say this holiday because it is a celebration of the day my son was born. So I celebrate ingame and in RL. World of Warcraft is a great game and i have a great son, so a great combination.
I would have to say Brewfest, because simply put, beer is good.
I'd have to go with Winter Veil... just the whole general mood it puts players in makes it all the more fun. And the clothing and pets and gifts, of course ;)
Love is in the air is my favorite holiday. Not because of the sappy lovey dovey stuff floatin' around everywhere, but because of the glorious Vile Fumigator's Mask. WHICH I HAVE YET TO GET.
Winter Veil because it seems to get me more in the xmas spirit.
For me the best world event is Hollow's End . I just love it getting to trick or treat in every place is so much fun. And the costumes and quest kept me wanting to do more each time.
Definitely a Brewfest. I was always a great fan of Dwarfs, but because of my real life friend I started to play as Horde.Brewfest is kinda one of the rare moments I can chill, relax, listen to awesome Dwarf speech and drink some ale - how can you ask for more? :)
"Those dirty, sneaky Rogues!"Pilgrim's bounty is the holiday for me because of two simple words: Turkey Lurkey. Rogues are the one class everybody loves to hate, including Blizzard apparently, and for this one sweet, sweet time of year they get singled out for some ridiculously well-deserved payback. BLAM... Turkified!
My favorit is the Brewfest.Amazing music, good quests, great achievments, nice kodo and beer!
Hallow's End. Lots of fond memories of running around with a massive group of friends trying to find candy buckets, and farming HH for hours on end trying to get the mount - back when it was summon based and not a once-a-day queue like it is now.
My favorite holiday in WoW is the Lunar Festival. It encourages exploring and taps into Asian culture, something that's a big part of my life. As a Korean-born Japanese major and Chinese minor, I've spent a lot of my life immersed in the societies of East Asia. This not only encourages me to pick up the upcoming expansion but to also appreciate what Blizzard does to bring a beautiful holiday to people who would otherwise not celebrate it. It's probably not the most exciting holiday for others, due to no pets or mounts or particularly awesome gear, but it's the gesture, really, that counts. The elders really appreciate the characters that meet them in the world and thank them for their homage. In a game that is slowly trying to market to newer and younger players, a little lesson in honoring those who came before you never goes amiss. The best part is the little touches. Although largely thought of as a Chinese holiday, most of the references made are Korean, which, I suppose, is a nice nod to Blizzard's Korean SC2-playing fanbase. And, a free travel pass to any major city isn't bad either. Thank you for this contest opportunity!
