For me, my favorite is Noblegarden. My family has always had a big egg hunt every year, and the game brings up so many good memories. On top of that, Noblegarden was my first in game holiday- I remember running around doing all the achievements, collecting all the shiny new things, and then being kind of depressed when I realized that my level 30-something couldn't get to Un'Goro to get her title. My guild heard me say that was the last thing I needed to get, and two of them helped me trek all the way there and defended me as I went to the hot springs and got my first title ever! That character today is my main, and "the Noble" is one of my favorite titles to use to this day.
My favorite holiday in WoW is probably the Midsummer Festival. It has plenty of activity for players of every level, it gets some traffic back in Dalaran, and still has a small window of benefits for end-game(although the staff sucked monkey balls this time). Close second to Pirate Day, because I just like pirates.
Hallow's End is my favorite WoW holiday - I love trick-or-treating at the inns since I'm too old to go in real life, I love the Horseman boss (though I hate that he never gives me anything!), and the new Feline Familiar might just be my favorite pet of all time.
Brewfest PERIODI mean, running around drunk in full lederhosen sporting dual wielded Tremendous Tankard O' Terror /kiss-ing everyone because they look so hot because of my Blix's Eyesight Enhancing Romance Goggles.I don't think it can get any closer to what I can vaguely remember my last real Oktoberfest was like...
Hallow's End. Who doesn't like a holiday that gives you an excuse to dress up, act silly and eat an obscene amount of candy?
Winter Veil - always love having new toys :)
My favourite holiday is Peon Day on 30th September for European realms. Most people don't know about the holiday and I don't think it gets the recognition it deserves.Legend has it that long ago, the leaders of the two races, orc and human, each called upon a lowly worker and assigned him a great task. This task had to be finished by the end of the day, lest the world suffer grave consequence. Working diligently, both completed their task four minutes before the day ended. Thus, on the anniversary of that day, we celebrate in honor of all the peons and peasants everywhere.Green Fire works for everyone!http://www.wowwiki.com/Peon_Day
Hallow's End is my favorite. Love riding on the broom!
Brewfest Definitely! A holiday where you have an excuse to be drunk all day is just awesomealso cool mounts and fun daily missions too and the brew of the month club are good reasons to choose it.
I'm here wish me luck!
Brewfest has always been my event of the year. I first started playing WoW while living in Norway for the summer, and at the end of the summer my father and I took a week-long trip to Germany to drink visit the wonderful beer sites. Right before my dad came to visit was the beginning of Brewfest - and the end, when I returned to WoW.After being just a few months into WoW, the in-game Brewfest and my real-life Oktoberfest just happened to correspond and hit me with an awesome dose of alcohol awesome. I felt so connected not only with the game itself, but that is where I gained a very strong connection with my character.Three Brewfests later, I've ram-raced on two different Azerothian continents, and three different Earth continents - all the while enjoying real-life beer (much of it home-brewed!), WoW beer, and the fun festivities in each of those five unique locations.Though, three straight Brewfests and I have yet to see a Brewfest mount! (Now that Hallow's End is over, I haven't seen any HH mounts from three straight years, either!)But what is great is I enjoyed the events both in-game and out-of-game so much that I could do (and have done) without the mounts - the event is more than enough for me.
Ive always really liked Pirate Day, i mean who wouldn't, wrenches in skimpy outfits, eager-to-be-stomped gnomes with eye patches ;)
