I have never really thought much about it, but this past year has really given me good reason to. My first resolutions are to help the family that has taken me in since I left my parent's house, and pay them back for everything they've done for me.To get a job to help me start saving more money for college. To rebuild old friendships that have been fading away since my friends left for college. To make amends with my brother, so that we can have civil conversations. And to apologize to some of the people I have wronged. (because at this point, it's not good to have bad relationships with anyone.)Now in game (lol) Break 9k achievement points. Get the "Mountain o' Mounts" achievementAnd help new players learn the game. (I recently got my best friend to start playing WoW and he's addicted *not literally of course*)
My new years resolutions are a lot. Get back into school, learn to drive, think and act better, get a new job, lose weight, and finally go visit my girlfriend and see her for the first time since we started dating. All the classic stuff.
To find a way to forgive people who have wronged me in the past.
My in-game resolutions are to start raiding and to get the 150 pet achievement.
Get a better job in my career and get my new toon to level 85
I'll give an in game and out of game resolution :)In Game: I know it sounds simple, but I'd really like nothing more than to get more achievement points. I don't really have a specific number goal, but there are a lot of achievements that I'd like to get. A few of them are my last few old raid reps that I need to finish off, others are the 25man drake achievements for ICC and Ulduar, and any of the new mount achievements from the Cataclysm raids! I'd also like to become better at pvp, I've been working at it lately and I've always been pretty mediocre at pvping, but I'd like to better myself in order to accomplish more pvp achievements as well. :)Out of Game: I'd like to be able to afford to move out of state to live with my boyfriend. I guess I could also add 'finish school' to my list, but that is set to be finished off within the next few months, so I guess that just leaves me with the first thing. Moving would be expensive, but I can't think of anything else that I want more than that! (except for maybe that rhino mount *wink wink* :P)
I hope my Blue proto-drake drops for me!
IRL: Pass my senior year of high school and get into college. In Game: Get at least my Shaman and Rogue to 85.
My new year resolutions for in game are, get my mage to 85, get loremaster, get all epiced out on my 85 palay ^_^
I recently came back to WoW so my resolutions there are basically to get "caught up" with everything that I've missed, I'm trying to get a PvP set, do a bit of raiding, and to simply do the endgame content. As for resolutions in real-life I want to keep my GPA up and to survive the horror that is calculus
To become a better Tank
To not make any resolutions. (on a side note, I am currently quitting smoking after 20+ years and on Chantix...woo) No holes in walls yet. *grins*
My New Year's resolution is to finally learn how to do dungeons, and stop being so afraid that people will be angry at me for being new at it, even though I'm 85. I only got to 85 without doing dungeons in the first place because I'm crazy shy and always worried that when I do badly, people will hate me and yell at me. As a result, I'm 85 and a dungeon newbie, which makes me even more afraid, since people would expect an 85 to know how to do dungeons. So I'm going to try not to worry too much anymore, so I can just do the dungeons and learn. :)
To make supervisor at my job and to help our guild create the new(ish) legendary staff!
