In D&D I love Mages! NWN Mages was great. But in WOW I prefer Death Knights
I usually play DPS.I like doing a mix of casting/melee.
I go for multi purpose roles based with melee or support classes.
The class I usually play in RPGs is caster.
I like to play a jack-of-all trades character with strong melee and pickpocketing as well as utility spells

I love playing casters! I also like the ranger type class, too. I prefer dealing out damage. :)
I've always gravitated more towards the "sword and board" sort of tank classes. Not sure what that says about me; I just like being able to take a beating (even though it usually sacrifices damage.)
I usually play a ranged bow type class.Definitely some type of rogue class. I am not to fond of the way the targeting is handled for the bow as its slightly clunky, however everything else is glorious.Props up to the team for making this we need more single player games of this class.
Healer mostly. After I first starting healing in Wrath (in WoW of course) I fell in love with healing :D! So any other characters I end up making end up being a healer or ranged.
Typically in RPG games I like to go with a sword n board class, preferable with a small mix of magic like a paladin. Though when I tried the Demo of this game, it lends itself very well to a more versatile play style in terms of character customization and controls. When I get this game I will probably go for its universalist build which is something unusual for me but will be quite fun I think. Swords/Archery/Lightning/Healing sounds like quite a mix to me.
I almost always go for the warrior type class. I'm not sure what draws me to them though. Maybe it's the consistently low downtime or maybe it's because they always seem more fierce or brutal than the other classes.
The class I try to be in RPGs are mages: full on elemental spells, minions at my disposal, or battle mage where I nuke things into oblivion while stabbing it in the face.
I tend to play a spellcaster. Love being able to stand in the back and take care of business!
I almost always end up as a mage/wizard/sorcerer. I love to pewpew.
