I'm a very big fan of mages. I also love warlocks for their evil reputition and being a bit more of an outsider/unwanted in main cities/hated by civiliens, but since I hate playing pet-classes it's still the mage for me.In WoW it's a female gnome mage :)
My favorite class is the more paladin based class in all RPG play in. I am somewhat attracted to the ideal of a warrior who protects the weak and stand up against evil. Using Faith to rebel the evil and looking strong to face down your opponent.

Well in games like these i tend to play duel wielding spell slingers cause they are fun
I play the biggest, dumbest melee character possible.
I usually play a warrior type, because it seems easier to just hit the enemy till they stop getting back up than worry about magic powers.
I'm big into casters -- so long as they can wear heavier armor and hit things. In the face. So I tend to go for Paladins or Battle-Mages (whatever the RPG has to offer -- some sort of warrior/mage hybrid!)If there's not a suitable one of those types, then I'm a rogue, absolutely.
I have mostly played a melee class. I'm that type of person who likes to crush everything in sight without hesitation. In WoW I'm usually the tank, because I like to attack first and I don't know... maybe I get some pleasure having all the pressure on me. However, after I have hacked my way through, I usually move up to more tactical classes like hunter and such.I never pick a caster though. I have never tried. I'm not a mage-type, I guess.Maybe if next time I start a new game, I should try a caster. :) Being all-mighty warrior is sometimes too easy.
Well it really depends on the setting of the world but I usually prefer a ranger/hunter-class.
Hi, my name is Xandr - and in all the RPG's I play, I love being a Paladin - aka - the healer that won't die. In PSO I play a FoMar - a magic using melee fighter, it's PSO's closest thing to a Paladin.Neverwinter Nights I play a Half-elf PaladinDiablo II - PaladinWorld of Warcraft - PaladinAre you seeing a trend - I love Paladins!
It depends on the game.In MMOs I tend to play a healer, in other rpgs I tend to go for a caster, and in tabletop games I play a fighter type.
I usually enjoy playing melee classes in single player games. The feeling of smashing someone's face in (especially casters!) is so exhilarating that I can almost not stand being a caster!
I tend to play healers in RPGs. My main is a holy paladin in WoW.
I usualy play as the melee damage/tank character(warrior/soldier/type)
I used to ALLWAYS go for the warrior or rogue class, because I used to HATE mana and I saw no point in having a "limited" resource for DPS, but as of late I've become more of a fan, I guess, of mana and realized that mana is just a tool you need to handle. That said, I still only go for mana users in games like skyrim where I mainly use it to heal.
I like to play chars that have good solo abillitys. Mostly paladin/knight, sometimes a ranged dps.
