I usually play melee so that I can be right in the middle of all the action. Woo!
I normally play a hybrid caster/melee.
I usually go for the ranged caster type. There's something satisfying with throwing a huge fireball at someone/something from far away and potentially get a oneshot. If the caster mechanics are unusually clunky, I usually just go for whatever has the lowest attack speed. Speedy gameplay ftw!
I usually play caster classes. There's something about being able to cast magical spells that I find incredibly enjoyable and it helps me to feel immersed in a magical fantasy setting.
In WoW I play a healer, but when it comes to single player games I just about always go for the fighter type. Run in and bash things to death before they can hurt me back!
I don't tend towards any really and it depends on what the game is. I'll usually go caster if the game is more towards casters in my opinion, or a rogue/hunter type if its meleeish
Healers all the way. Its just so fun having people's lives in the palm of your hand. I'd also play a ranged caster when I'm in the mood to make things go boom.
I am always a caster, my main character usually is a mage or something similar
Whenever I play an RPG I always go for the ranged classes. My favorite of these variety are archers, although i do sometime play as a mage. Along with this i like to have a companion with me to divert the enemy's attention, which is why i just love the hunter class in wow. mine has been my main ever since I started about three years ago.
Mage. I like casting spells, although I like to play every classs but the mage seems to be the class that I prefer to be.
