I usually play a spell casting class, throwing fireballs, staying out of range, etc.
Usually a hunter/scout if I can be one. In case I can't or don't feel like it, I just go rogue
I like to heal or rdps. Perferably as aspects of the same character.
I always play an Assassin or a Rogue, i like to hide in the shadows and i like to kill enemy without do too much noise. That's why i always play this class, be a furtive killer shadow.
Since i started playing D&D second edition back in middle school, ive always played a well rounded adventurer. When MMORPG's came out i slighted to Ranger's/Hunter's and Baserker's/Warrior's. I have always enjoyed the thrill of melee combat but also like to be able to hit my opponent from a distance. In my opinion my Favorite class to play is one you build yourself not set to a "Stereotype" or to a certain roll. All things said my favorite toon is one that dosnt necessarily accel in any one field but can survive on its own when its party is down or can get where it wants to go without a lot of help from others .
For my first playthrough i usually go with warrior/paladin classes since they are mostly more open to mistakes and easier to play then if i really enjoyed the game i usually end up finishing it with all of the classes
always been a warrior or a caster
I usually play a caster. I like to be far enough away so I the explosions and magic damage I deal gets rendered to perfection.
I usually play hunter type classes. I have a knack for this type of character.
Typically, if the game has the option, I play a thief. I have always been good at them, and have managed to make them heavy hitters for their class. Otherwise, I will play a Ranger, or a Warlock-type class. I like being able to nuke things from afar, but still be able to survive close encounters for a short period if I have to.I have been a gamer since I was about four years old, and have always sought out the more in-depth games.
I game to destroy -- always a damage dealer. Sometimes ranged, sometimes melee. It all depends on which ends up being more fun.
I almost allways play some type of Ranger/assasin combo when I play RPG's, atleast in the single-player RPG's. In multi-player RPG's I usually play some type of tank with big shields and heavy armor! :)
I play ranged toons the most. Mages and hunters are my favorites!
I play controller classes in single RPG's and healers in MMO's. No mana = no fun!
I have tried the ranged dps and the melee dps... But I always ALWAYS seem to gravitate toward playing a healer. For me that has always seemed the most fun and fulfilling class. The magic of knowing that someone is alive and not nerd raging at their computer because the other person they were pvp'ing had the advantage over them is gratifying. Plus having that person I was being a 'healbot' for in the battle grounds whisper me at the end saying... ''THANKS that was fun'' is the best part.
Played a rogue-type in the demo, with the intention of going rogue/caster. Usually the way I go in single player RPGs.

mage is my favorite o roll but prefer tanks in mmo's^^
Warrior, or Rogue. Depends on the mood I'm in and mechanics of how both classes work.
