I used to use steam, but since my main computer died, I have had to resort to an older, out of date laptop (with minimal HD space and RAM) and have not been able to use it since.
I don't, I'm pretty game monogamous, WoW being it for me, my sons play on steam quite often though.
I'd say no. The only time I've used steam was when I bought Half-Life+All Expansions just for the story. And of course all HL2 games (give us HL2:Ep3 already?)
Yes, I use Steam, but only because playing games like Skyrim force you to use it.
I don't use Steam. If it counts, the only digital distrubiton service I used more or less regularly is GOG.
This post was from a user who has deleted their account.
i have a stream account but havent been playing any stream games recently.
I nearly only play WoW but sometimes I use Steam, because it is fast and easy to use :)
I use steam becuase it's easy to interact with friends who play the same games :)
No, I only play WoW because i enjoy it..
I use steam sometimes, but usely after a few days ill be back playing wow full time.
TEAM FORTRESS ALL THE WAY ON STEAM...caus I don't have to pay.
I always buy my games on Steam if they are available there, I find it highly convenient to have all games in one place. It's easy, fast and generally has good, functioning DRM. What's not to love about Steam? :)Don't really use any other platforms, unless explicitly required by specific games.
I use steam, because it's an easy way to chat with friends and some games that I like to play requires Steam.
I use Steam, Nintendo Direct Download, Microsoft Live Download, and also Itunes- mostly I download old games I enjoy playing on various systems, but music, avatar skins, and fun little trinkets are also a plus! It's much easier to download games and music than to try to go out and find copies not to mention systems to support them...<3
have used steam in the past. mainly because alot of my wow friends play on it when content gets stale. with my new pc have yet to download it again mainly cause work is making wow time limited. gotta do them dailies and get them extra gold tokens!
I use a couple digital systems. Steam, Origin and to a lesser extent GameFly , I find them pretty good as I don't always want hundreds of CD cases and boxes and prevents issues with trying to remember CD Keys etc. Plus Steam have some very good sales on regularly so its a good way to get games I wouldn't necessarily go for at full price and be introduced to new titles I wasn't aware of.
I do use Steam, i had to install it years ago to play another game but i liked the convenience of it.
Yes, with a history at Gamestop, we'd get all kinds of game downloads from Steam. It was a wonderful service to use, especially when free.
